Curious to test it against UAD SSL E (and hoping it gets brought to native soon). Need to demo this new beast.

 

Yes, it seems a battle between SSL, Brainworx and UAD.

 

Brainworx completely left out one of those most important pieces, the preamp. It's just an EQ/Comp/Gate with some saturation stuck on at the end. Even Waves did the full circuit with their SSL channels.

Been hoping UA would hurry up and port the E to native, but now that SSL put one out the game might have changed. That SSL 4KB strip is awesome, I'd bet their E channel is fire (just not paying $300+ for a channel strip plugin)..

 

Another hardware emulation…. Gosh, I guess this money machine stops with ai plugins, and people stop fapping on vintage hardware skins

 

Well I don't deny it would be a dream to receive a visit from SSL at Christmas...
