no. not normal. no other plugins do this.

A large number of MAC OS specific AA plugins getting released. Didn't think the witches were going there by reading some of the NFO's. Would be interesting to know if those MAC OS specific versions are missing frequency files or if they all contain the full range 44-96KHz...

there's a stereo-link mode for the legit ? I truly don't know. can you give graphic proof so I can add to the thread so R2R can see it

it's kinda part of the idea why I started this thread. To help (everyone) them keep up with the stuff and maybe help each other as of how to get everything to useful to everyone. It's totally understandable for all this mess. Even the end user like us is having trouble to keep up with 50 of theirs plugins now, imagine a cracker that have to deal with thousands of encrypted files for one single plugin. Complaining will only stop these plugins from coming, which is not what most of us here want. Slowly finding the problems and fixing it could lead to better crack. As for now R2R are keeping up with it too except for those that cant be fixed by them.

I think it's lack of supply, and people that want to supply dont know how to do it. Need someone that really familiar with all these stuff to gap the bridge. It's against the rule here to start collecting legit plugins files from legit user and send to R2R. I'd already do it if I can.

what I meant was normal behavior for AA plugins, since turn on/off preamp or certain module is like reloading the whole plugin, it restarts itself, for some plugin even the settings are back to default, so there's always a slight CPU spike but not to 300% like what one would call a problematic spike, not happening to me like that, 100% at best but only 1-2 seconds.

    5. CRACK BASED ON TRIAL INSTEAD OF FULL RETAIL [CONFIRMED]
    - why ?
    - trial version are mostly buggy, reported lack of functions and didn't get latest hotfixes from the dev.
    - how community can contribute if the problem is supply.
    - need clarification from R2R.

Added that to the thread, hopefully we get an answer soon. I had my doubt about the crack not being based on full release since the first day AA plugin was released. It's just feel like it's not really my place to say anything because others would demand I supply the stuff.

curious what plugin is the 1st ?

In the center, the red LED C-LINK. Also mentioned in the manual, page 17.

Was just looking more into this. It seems to be an incompatibility with protools and the Coral2 EQ (not dyne). Checking the system CPU graph while activating the PRE button there is NO actual spike. In fact the system CPU monitor reports nothing at all when pushing the PRE button - it's just protools stopping the track play. Unless you can test this at full system hardware clock of 96KHZ (not 48khz x 2) it may not show up. The Coral2 DYNEQ PRE button doesn't seem to exhibit this issue at all. Press that one all day and it simply engages and disengages..
    anyway just fyi...

    From the manual :
    upload_2023-12-3_6-17-21.png

if this is what that button suppose to do than the plugin works fine. Atleast it works fine here. I felt weird the first time I read it, am I wrong to think that Stereo-Link Mode has to do with the detector and L&R channel will compress both of the channel together even if only one side is triggered ? that what it suppose to mean right ? linking controls is not Stereo-Linked mode right ?

That's why I asked graphical proof, if there's additional button for that in the full commercial release. Not that anyone would like a 670 to behave that way but it's always cool to have that function.

should it ? a 670 ? they didnt mention it in the manual that way. nor the hardware behaves like that afaik. never had one in front of me of course.

that's exactly what I wanted to suggest today, somebody should unpack Mac releases and check
are the IR image files for both systems the same?

I tried everything released so far on windows 7 (most people propably dont care)( i will update the list)
and i found that these plugins:
    -Jet bundle (gui crash)
    -And sienna guru and room
Crash the audio engine on bitwig 5.

But everything else seems to work so good day for us windows 7 users. Tried both vst 2 and 3

Right, but Boreios was speaking of a bug that was fixed in the retail version and not in the demo, which I didn't understand correctly in the first run (I thought they added the C-link later).

IF these are all based on bug ladden trial versions aren't we all just beating a dead horse trying to document bugs that are out of ours and R2R's control? Unless real FULL fixed versions show up it all seems moot at this point. We know R2R can crack the stuff but they aren't the dev's with the source code so bug's and the like are out of their control.

    1) Control Link (linking the knobs) is not Stereo-Link Mode (linking the compressor detector path)
    2) all C-LINK button in all Acqua only does Control Link, linking the knobs. None of them doing Stereo-Link. If maybe I missed one, I'd like to know which one that does the Stereo-Link mode the moment you pressed C-Link button. If there's Stereo-Link function, it will come as separate control. Example in Cobalt 2, Control Link top, a button. Stereo Link bottom a knob.
    upload_2023-12-3_7-15-37.png
    3) It stated in the manual clearly, word by word, emphasis on "the channels are compressed individually" that suggesting that it's NOT Stereo-Linked mode where if one channel had signal crossed its threshold both channel will compressed.
    upload_2023-12-3_6-59-22.png
    4) Fairchild 670 is a basically a stack of two 660, nothing Stereo-Linked about it. So it can't be there by default.
    5) strange but maybe it's a user requested feature, logically it needs additional button, adding Stereo-Linked function to a Control-Link button is just weird because 95% of the user that know what they are doing would've prefer it unlinked.
    6) I understand the importance of Stereo-Linked feature in modern production. Would want it too.
    7) still im giving you the benefit of the doubt, I'll take graphical proof or a link, screenshot, anything, from AA if they said it, in gearspace, in AA forums, or updated manual (if there's any) saying the function is there.
    8) I can only update the main thread about bug or anything with fact and proof.

Unpacked the smallest MAC release Big Ceil, the listing shows only 44 and 96KHz images

found an image in resources that may prove these releases are the trial ones
