Anyways to reduce the storage space used by acustica plugins, i find the acustica to be big sized. im on mac and i have did the procedure using r2r files on mac tried to fix AU but didnt work, and just now i read to get au working.
how much space the acustica is taking on your drive both r2r and the trial version

Everything is working) I just was a little confused when I start plugins on mac m1 arm and the sound start clicking like problems with buffering, but later I understand why)) I downloaded vst3’s from mac intel, and start them on mac m1))) anyway on the mac intel everything works perfectly!)

 

Anyone with the “old” Nebula 4 for Mac who installed the Aquarius along with R2R? Is N4 working OK afterwards? I hate to lose functionality of N4, what gives?

 

I checked it and it's actually a universal plugin, meaning it natively supports your device. Are you also trying VST3? I just update the post, added VST2 and VST3 install.

I did every step you said here but the plugin has no sound and crushes Studio One 6

Sorry, forgot to tell you, I used vst3 version at that moment not au. Is’t there any difference between vst3 for intel and for native arm?
Cause all of those plugins that I installed work good on intel but crash sound on apple silicon.

By the way, I moved the all files from vst3 folder on external ssd, and it’s still working fine on intel. No need to store files on mac if someone doesn’t have free place for it.

 

You can store the plugins on external ssd.

What do you mean by "Delete all the Example plugin files you just downloaded in the Components folder" ?

when we download just VST3 64 from Aquarius , there is no ExampleT.vst3, ExampleT.XML, ExampleT.N2S, ExampleT.aqu, ExampleT.AUT in components folder

 

For example ExampleT stands for PluginnameT T stands for trial.SOUNDAT.VST3 TO SOUNDA.VST3, AMBER3T.component to AMBER3.component

When I download only (ASHULTRA VST3 64 trial) from the Aquarius desktop, there is no ASHULTRAT.component in the components folder. its just ASHULTRAT.vst3, ASHULTRAT.XML, ASHULTRAT.N2S,... in the VST3 folder

I got the instruction bach rename all files and remove T from them

 

Just understood that Acustica Audio doesn’t have versions for mac arm, only x64 intel versions that working by Rosetta. Performance is not at the best level, my i7 8850h macbook works 100% better than M1pro macbook pro

 

It is indeed a universal plugin, and it actually depends on Example.VST3/Resources/ACQUA.vst/Contents/MacOS/Acqua***x64_arm

 

Already worked on Logic Pro and Ableton Live for me. Maybe you need to re-sign the Audio Units file?

Because they only provided native support for M1 Pro, but did not optimize performance for M1 Pro.

I have successfully tested all released products so far, and in fact Intel's performance is indeed faster as you said. But I might be more inclined to use Audio Units instead of VST3

 

None of the plugins so far show whether they are on trail or not. You also cant open up Aquarius with tempered files to check. So how exactly are you guys able to tell if its working or not?

 

Ohh, understand, I tried both au and vst3, it works the same. So, is it really working not so good even on license versions for m1? At first I thought that it’s only for trial versions.
