New website launched: VSTskins.com

Many people design shiny skins but it is usual to find those in forums with broken download links. It is because many skin designers upload their skins to temporary storage services. We created VSTskins.com so they can upload their skins there and everyone can download them.

"www.VSTskins.com" made for the people who think appearance is important ;)

 

This is cool but i downloaded the Sylenth1 VTX Plastic White and it is just in a dill format i could not find it for Mac there

This skin is only available for windows. If someone makes a Mac version we will upload it.

Thanks killihu for the great work and cool site, sharing is caring. I have an interesting Poise skin that I would just love to upload to your site, however I do not understand how to take a full "screen shot" of just the Poise skin when it is up and running in my DAW. Thanks again.

 

If you got windows you can use snipping tool which comes with windows, just go to start menu then in search box type snip. If you got other OS google screen capture software.

In Windows, you can do it easily this way: In your DAW focus the window on Poise, press "print screen"+"ALT" then open your favourite graphics editor and press "import clipboard", or "make new pic from clipboard", or just "paste". I use XNView for that. No additional tools necessary. ;)

You see, "print screen" makes a screen capture into the clipboard, but if you press "ALT" and "Print Screen" simultaneously, it makes a screen capture of the focussed window. That's why I never used a screen capturing program in my life, because it feels kinda ridiculous when it's part of the OS already.

You can do what SineWave says. Anyway, I am a user of Poise, so I can get the screenshot by myself.

 

Versions are written against each skin and it says win32 for Sylenth1 VTX Plastic White.Also read killihu's post.
