I have just deleted files from my SSD disk, storage partition. I have used Minitool Power Data Recovery. But none of the recovered files can be opened :(( "It is not supported or corrupted..." or so. They were not overwritten or damaged, just deleted.

dont write anything (at all) on that drive not even a rename of a folder

get easus data recovery, if that cant get it back, or your ssd vendors tools
it might need more advanced stuff

The same result. No files can be opened. I don't understand it. The files were just deleted and not overwritten.

SSD is different than the old platter style drives. Sorry to say, but consider your files gone.

Sorry to hear that, but like @dondada try Easeus and also try Recuva from ccleaner. Unfortunately i havent tried them on SSD fortunately not yet happened to me, but it will, one day.

I have both, a friend of mine who was making a short fucked up real bad all got deleted from SD card, wiped clean. Asked him to bring them to my place without messing it up further, as he was in really bad situation wanted to help. Recuva done the work. But if i remember correctly a few files were messed up or renamed but as it was a all video files he knew how many takes were there and wat was wat.

So try it not sure if it will work, but as a last resort. But down side of using these frequently just ruins the life of the disk, again not sure with SSDs

too bad easus didn't help, but it will next time.

the thing with ssd is they have a life of their own
the quickest after an error the better, 2 out of 3 times it helped me.
you need redundancy, i use/see SSDs essentially as temp drives

    best of luck mate

Sorry for my stupid question... Have you checked the recycle bin up? Or have you surely deleted files permanently?

you have to remove any power source to the drive as quickly as possible to have much of a chance of ssd data recovery.

it's probably time for stage 5: Acceptance.

As science of art of recovering this lost bullshit… Do all “recovery” things work at all? …

TRIM often stops data recovery software from working as intended. If you have not overwritten anything you 'might' still have a chance. TRIM basically tells the O/S which SSD data blocks are no longer in use and can be wiped internally.

Check it is on (which by the sound of it, it is). (From EASUS) "TRIM indeed ensures the high performance of your SSD. But it eliminates the possibility of data recovery on your device because it completely erases the data blocks when you perform "delete" operations".

EASUS has a method to recover with TRIM - Unfortunately, once data is wiped completely, it is wiped. Try below first before giving up completely.

like mentioned b4 did u try Recuva, not to give up yet until u destroy the crap out of it. Lol JK and more or less yes, different apps have a slightly different algorithms more likely for patents and stuff.

They usually work great when you don't want them to; and almost never when you do. Trim is a main part of the reason why you have a much better chance of data recovery if power is immediately removed from the SSD.

Just for info. I tried to used Ontrack and DiskDrill but nothing new happened apart from that DiskDrill blocked the access to the whole disk and it disappeared from the system. So I thought I lost the whole drive. FUNNY!!! But after uninstalling this bitchDrill I got it back.
