The size of these plugins alone doesn't make me want to download them, I've a few of the free ones, they're not bad qualitywise but (unstable), and aren't special either. ohh, and the CPU usage of course, is too high imo. Why not use Algo's and get the same or better results...

You sound like one of those users who complained up and down about Falcon2 when r2r released that. Just like them, in 6 months or so; you will still be using these because everything is magically better once 1) you own it or 2) when it is free.

If these plugins suck so much, why did R2R keep them Internal Only for 10 years? To keep getting more of them. Because they are not bad plugins. If it was easy to crack like they mention in nfo, they wouldn't care about release timing because they could just crack them again. Or if they were bad plugins, they could remain uncracked and they wouldn't care about that either. They are also wise enough to know by doing this, they will actually increase this dudes sales.

When you say things about other musicians like this cultist comment, you are getting into the whole "Musician vs. Plugin tester" subject of conversation. One will take a instrument or plugin, and make the best music they can with it. And the other will point to flaws in the software/instrument and complain about it as justification to not pay for something (and then use it anyway). Most of the most musical sounding things people use are not technically perfect at all.

If you want to sling that sort of comment at someone, it's a good idea to make sure their music doesn't smoke yours.

    40% :p

The thing about AA is that their products are 95% of the real deal, paying 2-5% the cost. If processor is all it takes, I don't give a damn. I pay 2% for a software that emulates 95% of a machine I'll never be able to buy.

Their stuff is way ahead of the competition. Salt is truly amazing the way it saturates is light years away from anything. Ivory is a VERY good mastering suite.

I have a power M1Max that barely trembles. But they do are power hungry but amazingly soundly.

If there is anything this will do long-term is increase AA's sales.

I don't think you do based on your description. Please, this is not a personal attack, there is a learning curve.

Send me a 4 track and I'll show you how SALT shines, including master.

I won't even start using them. I'm just checking my sanity here. Seems intact so far.
As I said, I can see clearly that if not pushed, this thing is perfectly functional. I believe you that you can mix.
A 5-track (couldn't fit the arrangement in 4 stems) of a music piece I posted on this forum is coming your way tho. It's one I wrote and mixed to -7 LUFS, and kinda in a flavor of early 2000's, so it's both not very loud and not very dynamic. And if it's still too aggressive of a track somehow, do tell me, I have a more "classical" "acoustic" sounding track with an even lower target loudness to boot that I can send instead. The one I didn't post here yet.

    Oh, and another thing.
I believe I don't have such problem. Also that's completely not the point.
A guy told me, addressing himself as "We", no less, that my opinion should be disregarded, without further argument. What would be your answer to that? Notice that I don't do the same to an aptly named GodHimSelf, cause so far he doesn't act like a dick.

 Basic mistakes and some things explained in a suboptimal way, to say the least. And before anyone rates this disagree or dislike, I can prove it and I already have in this forum.
Set a VU meter to -18dBFS calibration, run any audio source (music) through it and show me which digital level shows -18dBFS at 0VU. I tell you which, none (because that calibration was made with a sinewave, not with musical content)!

To your first point, no I do not believe you will not use them. Most people's problems with these plugins are always performance related and not sound related. And just the developer's treatment of legit customer concerns. I don't use them and he does sound like a dick. But as I said, you could probably go in the thread about Falcon, something like "not impressed" or whatever; and many of the posters in that thread surely will appear in later ones hoping for new version from R2R, etc.

There is some troll idiot on every forum with the username such as "Godhimself" or "Voice of reason" or "Truth of whatever". That's a problem usually solved in about 2 or 3 mouse clicks. But that is the same with someone who clearly has an agenda, such as your "plugin tester" example. They have a pre-determined opinion and all "fact finding" will be constructed solely to meet that end. I don't blame someone who has seen all this stuff before not wanting to waste a few paragraphs as I just did. It's tired. Especially when discussing now-"free" stuff. You could just delete them if such a problem. But you won't. Neither would I.

I wanted to respond "Their DRM and Aquarius" but considering that the witches are able to transform a 12Gb plugin into a 0,6Gb one with better performances, and also considering that it appears that their plugins have sub-optimal dynamic range and can't be pushed like analog hardware...

I might as well say that the plugins themselves are bloatware.

They've of no use to me tho. I'm producing either electronic music or modern Hip-Hop. Your belief is irrelevant here, I'm not gonna use Acustica, bloody gain-staging doesn't do what I need FFS
Regarding Falcon - I'm not impressed. I kept it to myself, cause it's not shit, and full of useful sounds if I ever feel lazy.
You don't know what you're talking about. It'd be better if you stop derailing the thread into personalities and, I don't know, accept that I'm not lying maybe?

You switching to r2r framework or staying legit?

I've seen someone say their discount is 55% before. So it at least goes that far.
Mine is 30% personally. It's been there for years, it's surely close to crossing the 35% mark soon.

I'm fairly sure in the NFO it said they've already cracked the full 100 or so plugins. So it's just a matter of posting them now i guess

anonymouse is correct. you are not using the plugin correctly. turn on Ultra mode before driving the pre, and you will get rid of so called farting.

That's exactly what Salt won't let me do tho, did you read my post about it? Its overdrive is terrible.
Also I need way more than that for the loudness my Hip-Hop clients are aiming at.
I'm trying not to pull this card here, but you can open a spoiler under my post and see that I've proven myself to not be a beginner. Also you can just listen to my mixes that aren't made with 4 vintage plugins only.
I know what gain staging is. Salt falls apart when I throw my stuff at it, while SlickEQ or Sweet Spot do not.
WHY ARE WE DISCUSSING ME INSTEAD OF PLUGINS AGAIN

A cheap one with canned stew.
