Another thing that i think would be possible is that you create another virtual mac in virtualbox for example and download the trials there because i think acquarius checks only on the machine that it is installed but i could be wrong. Will try this out

 

yeah i move files out of vst folders when going back to internet and starting aquistica back, at this moment i am not banned yet, and i am downloading trials [well only vst3's of them, i dont download all zips and dont install them]

 

I only was talking that this whole move knob and wait 4 seconds for change sucks workflow wise, not about sound. For me personally this delay is dealbreaker, those hyper ones dont have this issue

 

dont bother, they all have a hate boner, and dont use their ears

Already got VST and VST3 worked this time, i use another mac to download the files. But still missed Audio Units for me. just search the files, Audio Units version have a few ENG files same like AMBER3.ENG, i think they's why keep crashing for me. Also we can't just change the file name for this, Black it's free download and everything also crashing. I think we still need more job for Audio Units, anyway thx seniornegative! w

Only remember that you need to have framework installed once! you need to have nebula file and nebula folder inside /library/framework/
One instalation of anything legit works [or probably just moving files there]

Will it ever work on Pro Tools?

 

Somebody in other place raported that "this works with pro tools on M1 as long as the AAX is U2B" and not all of those aax are universal i believe. Salt probably is because its new. But i for obvious reasons can't test it.

 

Yes, that's AA's problem, not all their plugins are compatible with silicon, I own several licenses and only half of them work on Pro Tools Native. Great to know it might work.

 

For protools use bluecataudio patch work. I use it on luna with vst3 load aa plugins

 

Of course, if there are no alternatives Bluecat's always saves, but I hate using it, it kills my flow but unfortunately there are fewer and fewer AAX plugins. Luna I'm curious to try it soon..

Instead of another MacOS virtually, to duplicate what we already have; I think I'd like to use a Oprekin Windows Lite install inside Parallels.

I started to do that but it was getting late and it looked like I was about to do some irreversible stuff I wasn't comfortable about. I want to do a tiny bit more research to see if this is a good idea. But this way the VM will have a lot more than just Aquarius plugins to run on it. If anything it would save about 10gb disk space that would be used by additional vm image.

does anyone else have problems with SAND 3 ? it doesnt get recognized because when i download the trial the plugins are in vst3 folder ? or is it just me ?
