Does anybody know if the massive lagging in the Omnisphere UI might get better with dedicated graphics? I am one of these people that had bad luck, both on windows and intel systems. I have integrated graphics with a new Ryzen now and this just came to my mind, maybe it would help?

 

Probably not. I don't have any lagging in Omnisphere. My video card is ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024 MB graphics.

 

I don't have any problems with the Nvidia drivers but i made sure i downloaded their non gaming driver. What did impact performance for me was a high polling mouse I had, that was causing all kinds of spaceship noises every time i moved the mouse until i figured out what was causing it then set it at a lower polling rate

 

We replaced SFF like that my friend had with HP EliteDesk 800 G4 i7 8700 32GB DDR4 RAM 512Gb SSD which cost him 240 bucks, that is some seriously good deal and much much better machine for even more demanding users. Another good option in that price range is Fujitsu Celsius M730 Xeon E5-1650v2 think they go even cheaper around 200 bucks with 32GB of RAM, nVidia Quadro FX580 512MB GPU and so on.

I have his i5 SFF here and would recommend to skip this altogether, especially if one is running modern plugins like Diva, DSEQ, Ozone and etc.

Hi. I have a set up without a discrete graphics card and have been having issues lately with the CPU uhd 630 graphics of my intel processor (i9 10900k). I am using this in a ITX chassi. Could anyone recommend me a low latency graphics card to ad to this set up? I also want a graphics card because I wanna use dual monitor and my z590i motherboard only has one HDMI out.

The elitedesk 800 g4 is just a newer small form factor computer, I have the G3 in my studio. I like it
