I think that error has something with your antivirus not allowing permissions. IDK

 

that directory whited out in the picture is the directory that needs to be permissions reset or chmod 777. the "user" for your app needs r-w-x (read,write,execute) permissions set so it can access and do anything with that log file.

 

The text to speech will work locally and offline too? That would be sooooo coool

Suno can't do offline yet because its pretty GPU intensive right now because there are many moving parts to make this work.

LLM, diffusion, etc.. I belive it can happen in the future but right now there is only so much that can be done locally.

@Rodger there have been some other threads with the same "problem". Deliberate misspellings of OS version in all Caps? check. Malware on a Mac, after 5 pages of other users commenting it is a nice app? check. Malware and other Conspiracy theory, and on Mac? check. We're probably already past due for another Foster/Mike Hunt/Glori, etc style alias.

 

Yea I tried that aswell even stayed up with updates hoping it would help seems like a cool program hopefully everything will get ironed out at some point.

My goal is to resolve these issues so that you can use the software effectively. Please know that we are working on it and your message has been noted!

Have you tried turning off the 'stem mode' in the settings? That has been a common issue for many users.

I get an error, either the same or very similar. I think it has to do with the graphics card. Apparently, the CUDA version is not compatible with PyTorch, and a PyTorch compilation needs to be done since none of its versions are compatible. Out of curiosity, what graphics card do you have?

 

If people are getting CUDA errors they can select CPU render in settings. It will be slower but it will work. I also recommend turning off stem mode.

But, bro, 3 minutes for 5 seconds at 100% CPU is too much, and it's okay, maybe you think, 'well, it's an old PC' (hypothetically speaking). But when I install VST, I read other comments and the performance is more or less the same. For example, when I read many say, 'AA's VSTs consume a lot of CPU,' I experience the same, and when I read others say, 'This VST consumes very little CPU,' it happens to me too. What do I mean by this? That even though my PC is old, it's not that bad and runs many things very well. The point of this is that, you say, well, CUDA error, use CPU mode, so, is there no way you can fix that error or find a way to make it consume fewer resources or make it faster? I think many of us would benefit, not just me. I'm not telling you this just for myself because I currently use Colabs since I multitask. But as I said before, if you could improve this, many of us would benefit, I believe, not only those with a powerful machine. I think, maybe I'm wrong
