I'm looking for a plugin like this https://www.cloneensemble.com/ to make a choir ensemble from a single voice. I have that plugin but I wonder if there are a better one, more modern (2023) TIA

 

Devious Machines Pitch Monster might do it. But I'm duty bound to say nothing sounds as good as actually multitracking voices. It's always worth it.

Googling using the phrase "choir ensemble from a single voice vst" returned some results, including this one from KVR:

They discuss a few, including CloneEnsemble, Vielklang, Melodyne, Crowd Chamber, etc.

NOTE: If you use Vieklang from VR on Sister Site, the VST2 can't be installed using the installer.
You can choose VST3.
(The installer can also be unpacked for manual placement of files)

OP is most probably looking for something else than Google results.
Like experienced user telling what they have use for this.

 

That's why I linked that thread.
Where else besides Google would one expect to find experienced users telling what they've used for this?
That thread is ONE source of exactly that, and I included what I used to search as basis for further searching.
Again, is it better to just shout to the sky "What's a good chorus plugin?!"
Maybe I should have suggested Bing?
I don't see Audiosex supplying a lot of experinced users yet.

Didn't spend too much time digging into it but it did the job.

 

Melda MCharacter, if you can stand that ugly user interface

 

this is the one I would pick, but melodyne would work too. iZotope Nectar 3 Harmony Module would also be worth trying out. Zplane could really use some better plugin names. You could also use a duplicate of the audio channel with Zplane Elastique Pitch on it for some interesting results.

That's why I don't use any MP plugin, but I will play with that thing.

 

I always check these out when there is a new major version. then I do not use them, uninstall them; and since they are 1200$ I feel like I am missing something that makes them that expensive? I know they are "good plugins" but I would think you wouldn't have to force yourself to use them. They are like actual work.

Density looks nice, maybe I will give that one a try soon.
