    Hi everyone.

I used to use several EZX libraries, but not SDX libraries cause they are too big.

Today, I bought an additional SSD drive, so I would like to try some SDX libraries.

I usually make band style, band based rock music : modern rock, alternative rock, pop-rock, etc. Sometimes add a few strings or synth sounds. Not so aggressive, and also not a kind of heavy-metal style. You got what I meant, right?

Could you recommend 1 or 2 SDX libraries suitable for my style? Just Core Sound Library is enough? or any other SDX come to your mind?

    Thanks in advance.

Hmm... SDX libraries seems much fewer than EZX.

OK I will check your recommendations first.

I hope they have some significant merit over Addictive Drummer which I love and use most frequently.

    Thank you for the advice.

TBH for Pop-Rock and similar you'll do fine with the factory library. It's really good.

    Sorry for late reply.
I saw your comment and started installing Core Library, and... it took 3 days. not 3 minutes, not 3 hours. it's 3 days...
Why on earth does it take such a long time to install this?
Core Library consists of 5 parts, and every part except 1 took 5~6 hours for installing, I guess. It's really strange.
Anyway finally Installing complete, and I will try it.
    Thanks for the advice.

Yeah, there are many EZX libraries and some of them fit my taste. But this time, I would like to test some SDX libraries which I didn't use before.

That 5 to 6 hour install per section- that ain't right. I don't know what is happening on your system but even installing from floppy disks should go faster than that :woot:

    My PC is 5900X + 32GB RAM + 5TB SSD.
Yeah, I think that is not right too.
However there was no error or any kind of issue while installing, except just taking so long.
Leaving my PC was on for three days, then it completed installing without any problem.
That's so weird. But I couldn't help but waiting, because there was no error or something.
I really wonder why this happend.
