    though the sound is quite good i cant help but feel like roland just took a bunch of their 'older' vsts and smashed them into one.

    also it needs an ultimate roland cloud membership ($20,- a month) and there's no lifetime key (yet)

    its exactly what it is, its a performance-mode vst player really.

    Im not sure but roland cloud instruments couldn't be run standalone like Arturias right, only inside a daw?

    According to Roland, this can run in stand-alone mode without any DAW.

    And indeed it looks like something similar to analog V.

    The Galaias also has a training program built into it which elicites a shock to your testicles (cable included) when you hit a note not in the key that you choose. The screen capture in the first post shows it in action. It's a definite buy!
