I currently have Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Disney+, Apple TV+, Peacock and though I would place Netflix in first place but not by much that's only true because of it's foreign language content. If I only understood one language they would all be equal and mediocre. Amazon doesn't have much for series but when they release a film or you search for films the quality of what is available is better than on Netflix, the same can be said of Apple TV+, not much content but what they have is really good quality, even if the writing is stupid and the storylines show a lack of actual understanding (Foundation and Silo completely missed the point) of the stories they are relaying.

I've had them all at some point or an other and HBOmax and Paramount+ were the most disappointing and shitty with not much to actually watch outside reruns or one series at a time once a week. They just jacked up the cost of content for themselves and everybody else and just don't offer enough to be any good.

i have netflix 4k from a friend for free. (He forgot that he still has NF, password sharing is still allowed if you not watch NF on your TV, simply use your notebook and HDMI it into your TV, password sharing BS bypassed.) But i usually go there to check which movies/series released new on NF and later torrent them.

i have like 100+ complete series on HDD and around 2000+ movies. so i am covered without streaming services. I simply like watching offline in a player like VLC or MPHC. And soon NF and the others will also introduce Ads for their subs. Back to pirating then ... Not spending my lifetime watching ads ...
Soon need to buy a new portable HDD.

There is a cool software called Tiny Media Manager, which helps you organize all the series and Movies in a database: https://www.tinymediamanager.org this really helped me to find double files.

and there is also youtube and twitch, which i watch regularly.

I get Apple TV+ every now and then for a month or so, when a new interesting (or good) show hits it.

I can only recommend Foundation, For All Mankind, Ted Lasso (of course!) and Severance. Severance is some of the best shit I've seen in years.

I have all the latest movies, but I can't watch a single movie to the end, that feeling like it's a waste of time, or maybe too much stress in my life:facepalm:
All I can say is that my video source is paid, and it is not a streaming service, but a simple hosting.

Calgary Public Library has a vast library of movies and series on blu-ray and DVD.
Don't have time to watch much but four items I have on hold are:
Cocaine Bear, Renfield, John Wick 4 and Evil Dead Rise.

you are lucky if your local Lib has such movies. Even if mine had - i dont have a physical device to play DVDs or BDs anymore.)

    some spoilers ahead:
Cocaine Bear, what a ride this flick was, you are between WTF, this is funny and dumb. Its way ahead what the other movies brought in this year. Would even watch again ... Was worth it ... 8/10

John Wick 4: glad its the last one, man what a dumb movie - i mean 1 & 2 were awsome, 3 was meh, but this one? The stairs scene in the last one, we laughed our ass of, how long he tried to get up the stairs only to roll down again ... 6/10

Renfield not sure if thats even worth it to watch it, but its still somewhere on my HDD. (other one sounds like horror so i will pass)

Recently found out that you can access some public libraries movie streams from my country without having an account. So i simply had a download spree and yeah downloaded 30 movies.
One movie was really good and its a keeper for me. So sometimes not bad these movies from the public library if they come as streaming.

When I'm not busy crafting beats, I like to kick back and catch up on series and movies. My go-to streaming service has to be Netflix. It's like my one-stop-shop for entertainment. They've got an extensive library that covers everything from the latest series to classic movies.
But you know, the streaming world is always evolving, and there's a whole world of content out there. If you're ever in the mood to explore new streaming options or want to access content from different regions, I recently stumbled upon a really helpful guide. It's all about how to watch Hulu in different regions, and you can check it out on onlinetvcast.com. It's pretty cool when you discover new ways to enjoy your favorite shows and movies, right?
So, what's your go-to streaming service for those chill moments?

to be honest I don't, not even TV,
randomly take a look at Torrentfreak list of most pirated movies of the week, then look at their reviews at imdb or so, and realize there's nothing worth watching

I got rid of all of them except Shudder. It's the one I found myself watching the most and it is significantly cheaper as well. Then there is also Tubi, which is surprisingly decent - and free!

We have NF and pony off a family friend's Amazon which is hardly ever watched. I have a pretty cool Androod app that I can watch most any movie as it's released for the price of watching a stupid ad and installing AM Player. You can download them or stream. Also, there is a new iPhone version though I can't vouch for it.

    Hit me up.

I just download what I want off a site I can't name. it's cut down on the time I spend scrolling through garbage on Netflix etc trying to find something to watch. if I ever buy again it'll be physical hd blu ray, iirc 35mm maxes out at converting to around 8-16k so once we hit those resolutions on old movies they can't really get remastered anymore.

I was a Netflix and HBO user for a very long time.
Today, however, I prefer to do without streaming services and buy BluRay discs again.

I'm buying physical media as long as I can.
Then I rip those losslessly to backup them because they can break over time.
An h264 is going to the nas.

If it's a movie I'm hyped for, i'll go see it.
If it's a TV Show or a movie I'm not too sure about I'll just DL it, watch it and most likely delete it afterwards.
Other than that I have a folder with a few of my favorites movies so I can watch them anytime I feel like it.

I only have one experience with streaming ; we wasted an hour trying to find a movie and did something else in the end.

It's a bit like shopping, I don't go out with cash to spend and buy whatever I come across that I like.
I need/want a pant so I try to go buy the right pants for me.

I use Fabfilter but I don't install the whole bundle because I'm only using a few of their plugins.

Why join the navy when you can be a pirate ?

I'm offended that you assumed we all be making beats out here :snuffy: #InstrumentalistsLivesMatter

Anyways, I don't have Netflix anymore because here in my country they decided to inflate the price along with password sharing BS, and although I do have Amazon Prime and HBO Max, I almost never watch things there (my mom is the primary user, along with my son and nephews).

As a millennial born in the mid to late-80s, my first instinct is always to go to torrent websites first, only to discover later that had I looked on Amazon Prime or HBO Max first, it'd have saved me the trip through torrent waters at least 1 out of 3 times

I have a large library of DVD and Bluray movies that I really like, but occasionally when I want to watch something I can't decide because I like all of them and then end up watching nothing. Do any of you also have this problem.

None, I pirate everything. After they raised prices and made their services even crappier here where I live I decided to cancel them all and now I just use Stremio for all of my streaming necessities. Fuck Netflix, fuck Amazon Prime, fuck Disney +, fuck HBO Max, fuck Paramount +, fuck Others, fuck Apple TV.
