So I installed the new Cubase 13 released by R2R and loaded a new Template "Dance Music".

It opens asome tracks with preloaded Halion. But this isnt included in the version I installed. How can I add all the Librarys, Instruments, Samples etc. that normaly come with a legal version of Cubase?

 

U need download all Instruments with content released by R2R and install them.

 

It has separate setup (look at recommended section) but you can find r2r version for all of this.

But I think anything mark as "Content" in page above you can download it directly from website it can use with r2r version

 

The content part you showed in the link, seems to just be "presets", but i am not sure?

What else do i need to install? can you post links?

Don't know about VR I just use R2R.
Halion Sonic SE is replace by HALion Sonic 7 (That's why it's show in website above).
Just grab HALion Sonic 7 from where you download Cubase 13.

My question is how can I install HALion content to a drive other than C? I don't have space, even if I uninstall loads of stuff.

 

just drag the halion content in put it all in one folder ''key word'' in one folder this will allow you to registered all of it in one place when you put it on another drive if you dont have that much room on your main hard drive just download each one and drag it too your external drive .... now i can say this umm you should always and forever have 100 gbs of ''head room ''on your main hard drive or SSD drive to give u head room just in case u have to download large files ....

You're right, of course, but I only have 22Gb spare of 229Gb. So I can put the content onto a different drive and then point Cubase to the folder? I thought the only way to install the content was to use the installer which insists on putting it all on the C drive. I need to look into this.

 

yeah its called cubase library manager make sure you have that installed very important for the things you trying to do you can direct all the libraries to where ever you please

 

Okay... so now I installed:

Halion 7
Padshop 2
Groove Agent SE 5
Retrologue 2

is this all to complete the installation and having a "complete" Cubase 13 Version?

 

It is more a "basic" installation, to run Demo projects.
Because no one forces you to use Steinberg plugins.

You can add SpectraLayers 10.0.30 (new "basic" in Cubase 13).
