Thanks for posting this. It looks like you can activate it without iLok, but I put it on mine anyway. It sounds good, runs on High Sierra, and the price is right.

 

When scanning it forces you to install iLok.

I didn't try it. But it looks like you can not use it during the installer process. You can click "use ilok" button on at least 2 pages. Why would they have that there otherwise? Just to skip typing their 30 digit code before having to install ilok?

 

Install normally. Don't install Ilok manager when it asks you to. When your DAW starts scanning, it'll stop on said plugin and ask you for activation. Then you'll have two options to activate, one of which is Ilok. Choose the other one and it'll ask for the serial that you've received in your email. Fill it in, activate and you're good to go.

 

Correct. I did that just to see if it works. It does. They give you both ways as an option.

Even when I don't click "Use iLok" it still says it requires components to install when trying to scan it (that being iLok)

i installed it on my ilok awesome plugin cant believe it's free

 

oh i got it working now in Fl studio now thanks i had to restart my computer for some reason but its working now thanks @ABCXYZ

What exact steps u've made? you rebooted immediately after installation, unchecking the ilock installation box? was your computer connected to the network?
