Looked good, until I realise you have to agree to let them use your personal day as they wish according to their privacy policy. It’s a pass from me, but looks good and useful for those who don’t mind their personal data being monetised and the resulting spamathon!

 

Most sites have this to whatever degree, but they only inform you of it if they're required to. As for the "monetized [...] spamathon!" the data sites collect is usually used for optimizations and reference internally plus, putting "... however they [we] wish," doesn't technically give them full reign to throw your personal information to some mass-email listing or similar.
I'm not going to write a thesis on the whole scenario, but I think it's safe to assume that HoRNet isn't out to burn bridges for a few bucks.
Also, I've signed up with more than handful of sites with the same deal, including HoRNet, and I never receive any spam.

There is no data, nothing to harvest from me there....

About the Plugin, don't we already have all this in our DAW?

A smart move as it keeps a clean account; I use multiple emails for the same ends. I'm just always curious how people think all of these securities and permissions work. A friend of mine who works IT/Security (whatever the position is called, technically,) at a hospital, has weekly stories of people's misconceptions of how things work in the cyber realm, thinking that if you engage a captcha it's the same as giving them your home address and the keys to your house, or something similarly extreme. There's a lot of information that's easily found concerning data security and online privacy, so the persistent myths surrounding it are surprising.
But spam is real... I just never get any, even in my slush accounts. Ironic, no?

To whatever degree, usually in various individual plugins, yes, but some DAW's stock utilities are pretty stripped down. Plus, some people want/need a palette of options, and I have to imagine that the all-in-one approach is somebody's bag for a smooth workflow.
I personally use DMGAudio's TrackControl for my channel-topper utility as it has everything I usually need with its gain, width/position/pan and adjustable HPF... plus, it looks sexy in black. HoRNet's track utility isn't really my style, but I'm sure its perfect for someone who wants a hefty arsenal of utilities and doesn't mind a GUI reminiscent of the early oughts.
