Before you even touch a single note on the musical instrument with your fingers, you should imagine and create the whole music plot with all the details in your mind in the least possible time. After that, making music becomes a simple mechanical work.

Btw, these statements seem contradictory to me.

 

LOL! Western musical vocabulary in especially popular music has become just as limited as the the knowledge about language among young people today. Hip-hop is only about beat and street language. Modern pop song harmonies and melodies are compacted to beats. Listen to any top song in the charts or on Spotify. There's no melody anymore. Just repeating notes supporting the beat.

 

You want to study drop2, drop3 , drop2&4 voicings

* this gives you 4 voicings per octave for that 1 single chord .

Then once you can build many different voicings you can have different instruments playing single lines which add up to be the chord voicings.

It just takes a bit of practice my friend good luck !
