No, they don't whip the llama's ass. The only ass that is whipped is that of the Reaper.

Don't know jack about WASAPI, but the whole point of ASIO was originally to bypass Windows slow ass architecture and go directly to the hardware to talk to your audio devices. Maybe your tracks will start 2 seconds faster using it? Otherwise using ASIO has no advantage over anything unless you're in a DAW that needs as little latency as possible and you go straight from DAW to hardware bypassing all the internal steps to get to it.

Fact/plot twist: Llama should actually be pronounced "Yama", not "Lama"..

So all those Llama jokes didn't really land as much in Spain or Latin America
(also there's no llamas in Europe so..)

By the way, I just updated my subscription to lynx (text based web browser) and webcrawler....got a couple of barrels of stagecoach grease and an electric dog polisher on order as well...

What they offer today under the name "winamp" is exactly what i dont want, and the reason why i still use the decade old version. :)

To get it right, the work on 'old' offline version, /the last v5.9.2 April, 26, 2023/ is discontinued.
