Does any DAW have something similar to Ableton Live's Track Delay feature? This is an amazing way to fine-tune clips into the pocket. I realize all DAWs enable users to move clips around via a crude nudge, but do any enable such fine tuning that does not impact the entire timeline?

 

Cubase:

Allows you to adjust the playback timing of the track.

In Studio one:

 

Logic has it in the Clip/Region inspector. It can do Ticks or Milliseconds. Basically the same thing as the Studio One screenshot above. I can't remember a DAW that doesn't have it, maybe FL might not because it might not be very useful.





In Logic Pro, select the regions. In the Region inspector, do one of the following: Click the left area of the Delay parameter, then drag up or down to set the value. Click and hold the right area of the Delay parameter, then choose a value from the Delay pop-up menu.

 

I don't have fancy screenshots but you can also do that on Reaper and Bitwig.

Last case you can use a third party like Trackcontrol (which is free): https://dmgaudio.com/products_trackcontrol.php

 

You can also try Raising Jake Advancer plugin for moving something forward. I've never needed that, but someone made a plugin of it anyway.
