there's no one easy answer to that. it mainly (almost solely) depends on WHAT you're eating. if you eat a lot of processed food garbage it won't matter how much less you eat you'll not live as long. plus since there's not much actual nutritional value to processed foods (most all of the shit you see adverted on 'merikin tv) the less you eat the quicker you starve anyway.

if you're eating good clean wholesome food stuff eating less in a smart way could make you live longer. however, malnutrition (from not enough nutrients) is not going to make you live longer either.

"gout" or basic muscle and connecting tissue inflammation is caused by hard cheeses, and to lesser degrees sugar's (mainly the processed kind). red meat has other debilitating properties all unto itself. the real concern these days is unless you are overseeing your own feed lot for beef and are raising your own fish/poultry you are subjecting yourself to big industrial foods' foul germ and bacteria ladden slaughtering and processing practices. you're better off going vegan and leaving all that shit behind for good. the skyrocketing numbers for direct food caused diseases like diabetes, inflammation, obesity, various cancers of the digestive tract, heart and circulatory diseases, are all testimonials for the fact that the BIG FOOD Conglomerates only exist to maintain a bottom line profit in the billion$ and trillion$ every year. They have very little concern for nutrition or food safety.

There are very few avenues to obtaining truly untainted animal protein sources anymore unless you're overseeing your own production facility. It's unfortunate but true.

All large scale non-meat processing, of course, is as pure and untainted as the virgin Mary's sainted hoo hoo.

Can you elaborate please? Not sure what you mean by that (I'm guessing you meant "Check your inbox, and read your messages?). Not sure why that warrants a message out of the blue. Thanks for clarifying. Cheers!

If you want to live longer search and watch content by Dr David Sinclair and Dr Rhonda Patrick, both have been on Joe Rogan.

On this, I agree. The same applies for just about all food nowadays: fruit and vegetables are all GMO, sprayed to oblivion, etc.

Religious men don't exercise and usually don't get up from the chairs, but most of them live a long time.

Eat less, hmm, I don't know :dunno: depends on what you eat, if it's some genetically modified shit, then you won't live long :guru:
In the 80's, there was no meat in stores  but the food was very healthy at that time, without any chemicals or GMO.

I know somebody that ate healthy pretty much all her adult life, and she was recently diagnosed with Leukemia. Eating less/healthy has nothing to do with not being able to get sick or living longer. Every single persons body/DNA (however you want to look at it) is different. When you die, you die. You can't alter your DNA.

Food can't save you alone a lot of times its whats in your family DNA and some of it is unavoidable or inevitable to stay away from its in your blood almost like a family curse at times......but yeah u can be the most healthiest eating person on this forum and still die from cancer because of other things like the toxic environments that you always be around or live at that alone can cause you illness

you got 2 types of people the ones that eat because they want to look good among society and the other type that only exercise because of the guilt of eating foods that they know that is very unhealthy for them

I weighed 300lbs at one point. Then I worked out, ate a good diet and started running, up to 9 miles a day at one point and wound up a muscular 190. Then I got married, quit working out and running and went back up to 245 where I sit. Now, the pessimist would say all those years of being healthier were a waste because I wound up being overweight again but the optimist would say I will certainly extended my life by years, and even though I'm a little overweight again now and might be shortening it a bit again I probably would be dead if I had never gotten healthy at some point in the first place.

The moral of the story is: nothing

Yea, that's for sure a thing, but what you eat, drink and the toxic chemicals that you are exposed to certainly can. There is not a single person that has had cancer in the generations of ancestors that I can trace outside of my mother (who lived on a cul-de-sac on Long Island and drank the chemical laden water from her tap for 30 years who had uterine cancer but lived for another 25+ years afterward). I've eaten super well my entire adult life and have mostly eaten organic food, never ate processed food and had been athletic before seriously injuring my back. There is no Leukemia in my family history yet I find myself confronted with mutant misshappen zombie B cell undead which are clogging up my liver, lymph glands and spleen. It has become "normal" for people past 70 the have CLL but I was diagnosed at 60 about 4 years ago. We've been inundated with toxins from fracking, industrial farming practices and chemicals in our food packaging, cooking surfaces and the air has particulates from all the petroleum products freely burned in the air.
