So I installed omnisphere, did every single incremental update and have successfully installed and updated the software, patch library, and sound source libraries.

Anytime I load any patch or sound that uses either the Waveform 01.db, Psychoacoustic02.db, Oneshots 01.db --- all three of which are initially installed from Disc 5 of omnisphere, I get this error





This is one example with the modeled bell noise, but any sounds that reference the Waveform 01, Psychoacoustic02, or Oneshots 01 databases mentioned above get that error.
Examples in the library that use these are - "Ice Glockenspiel", "Blast From The Past FX Drama Pluck", "Tesla Coil Synthesizer".


Does anyone know how to fix this? I was hoping someone could help me by confirming or denying they have the same issue and then posting up the image sizes they have for those database files in their STEAM library. I'd like to see if potentially I just have a faulty Disc 5 install. Thanks in advance!!

 

you are definitely missing some samples. this happened to me before where i couldn't load patches that used Waveform 01. what i came to realise that one of my updates was missing. i installed a patch update without installing a soundsource update.

you are options are to do they install over or try to install the latest update.

you should have:
software 1.5.8d
soundsource 1.0.2
patches 1.1
patches version 1.5

my omnisphere steam library size 48,060,212,999 (48.07gb) and 5,152 objects.

 

Same thing happened to me. Trouble w disc 5... To fix I just downloaded the torrent from one of the many sites & then used the keygen from the other one.
