What is a way I can eat any kind of food I like, and as much as I want and be perfectly healthy with no exercise?

I heard that it's better to have small meals throughout the day. I have forty small meals every day.

So... Poor people (limited access to foods) live longer than the wealthy people? :dunno:

The real issue is that in the West we generally eat much more than our bodies need and we tend to eat too much junk food (basically anything processed these days). Contrarily we're all living much longer, though they're probably keeping us alive longer with drugs despite illnesses that would usually have killed us years before. Suffer the little aged. Eat what you like and die young.

Did you know that an Arab can live for an entire year on a single grain of rice?

Statistically probably not. But it's not food only thing. The oldest guy in my country (~110) that I know of was in concentration camp and all sorts of shit through his life..

I'd put genetics factor 1st, then male vs female.. and I don't know any fat/obese ppl over 100. They're usually super skinny (malabsorption?). Anyway, AFAIK the length of one's life isn't directly proportional to their wealth..

That means, if you eat nothing, you gonna live forever.
Let's suggest this to all transhumanists.

Depends on the place and diet. Many poor Asians probably have a much better diet and life expectancy than middle class Americans...

I used to believe that fat people died younger but in fact once we hit 60ish our appetites change and we naturally eat less. Not always of course but I think it's true statistically.

There's no winning this aging thing, only a tiny minority are still on their feet at 100 and above.

That's impossible to answer, because it isn't always the amounts you eat, it is WHAT you eat.

For me? many years ago I cut out sugar, fat and salt from my diet (not completely because things like rice and pasta convert to sugar in the bloodstream) I lost weight AND my blood pressure came down to normal. I eat a lot now,but things like salads and chicken which add up to about 1500 calories per day.

If you over-eat then yes, eating less will arguably make you live longer (everything else in your life being ok).
If you have a balanced diet eating less will only make your body shrink with (arguably) possible bad side effects like reduced strenght and stamina, and weaker immune system.

Sylenth you posted pretty much all of my thoughts on this, and I'm pretty much doing the same as you, just no chicken.

2 main meals per day - breakfast and dinner, with about 2x some healthy snack in between (fruits), and it should amount to about 1500-2000 cal at most. My weight has been steady my whole life. Studying vegetarian nutrition since secondary school, since health nutrition helps with doing sports in which I was active until late 20s. Last almost 15y studying vegan nutrition. Everybody in my family eats pretty healthy, too. Home cooking is the key. It all runs in the family.

@peghead Eating less actually strengthens your immune system (explanation is quite long and it involves immune system response to fasting), but it does somewhat depend on what you eat during fasts. If it's only fast food (fast food for fasting LOL good pun), then you're not getting much nutrients, mostly just carbs and some protein and aminoacids if eating meat products. Basic vitamins and minerals are absolutely important for health, like C, A, B, E, D vitamins and they are all antioxidants that help against cell mutation that causes cancer amongst other unpleasantries. :)

All being said, I'm by no means a health-nazi though... as anyone who knows me knows. I even smoke... different stuff... and drink out of control at times...

Besides quantity you should care about quality (including air and water). Not quite possible without home cooking and living in the countryside.

It's a good strategy to eat the right food. Junk food causes inflammation which makes you ill. BTW, you can try intermittent fasting, or even a 5-day water fast for body maintenance and repair.

The issue of eating is one of the most complex issues that humans have been dealing with until now, and no definite solution has been found for it.
It is not clear what is the exact amount of food needed for each person?
What materials and in what quantity is needed for each person?
What is healthy food and what is unhealthy food?
What should be eaten at each meal?
    And thousands of questions...
Unfortunately, in the end, no one reaches any results and the only criterion for the food consumed is the volume of the stomach and its satiety.
Is there really no calculation and no method other than satiety to get food for the body?

I highly recommend you look into fasting. I've had miraculous results myself. I'll be trying dry fasting next, which is no food and no water for 1-3 days, but no need to go that far to get great results.

Alternating between feasting and fasting is the way to go. When you eat, eat good, organic food, like red meat, eggs and fish (all 3 are super foods), with some leafy greens, etc; sleep well, lift heavy and throw in some cardio, and you're ahead of 98% of the population, health-wise. Most mainstream diet advice is embarrassingly bad. There will be many doctors and dietitians in hell.

These 3 foods cause high uric acid production and ultimately cause gout.
