    Dear musicians,
    two questions:

1 - Can anyone tell me whether one or two bass lines are needed to create this bass?
Can you also tell me which preset it uses? I think it's a Roland but I don't know what Keyboard model and what name of the presets is. :dunno:

If anyone knows how to reconstruct this bass synth phrase and wants to explain to me how to make it on a track will be very appreciated, better if he coulds create a little .mid file: this way I can study it and learn it by analysing note by note in Logic. :keys:

2 - Oh... I'm also looking for all sort of MiDi Files contained in the various 80s wav Samples Loops.
I mean MiDi in the style of: Midnight Drive, Drive (Movie), SynthWave, VaporWave Packs etc.

Would be great (if anyone has this kind of files) if gently could make a small pack and upload it somewhere. MiDi's are extremely small.

Thanks for your help and attention... :thanks: :mates:

You can get a lot of midi files on the Sister Site.

Two. I'm hearing a very low tuned bass/synth with an arpeggiated synth on top.
Low bass is going da da DA da da da DA da, capitalised note is higher, a fifth maybe, this is by my crooked ear. [I edited it because I realised it looked like dada might mean 16th notes, they're all straight 8s.]

Thanks for the reply... think: I even hear two bass notes (Bb and C)... :)
but I'm still not sure about the design (I guess that are all 16th) and exact name presets used.

    Anyone have any ideas?

You could separate the instruments of the original track using RipX, load the tracks into Ableton and convert to midi, or use a tool to do that.

Another way would be to use a slow-downer and your ear, Transcribe! will also attempt to tell you the notes.

The presets sound pretty standard. If you can separate the instruments you could use Synplant 2 to copy the sound.

    Mmmmmmhhhhh... :wow:
in words it seems easy with all that but in reality it is more complicated, I'm not that expert with that software. :snuffy:

Besides... no one has found the exact solution, which means that it is not as simple as it seems (bass line and preset name).

The steps I outlined are all very easy in each piece of software I mentioned and there are youtube videos that will show you.

These are fundamental skills if you want to be a musician.

There's tedious and there's difficult. This is much more tedious than it is difficult.

Who made it? It has a little high pitched percussive note on the 1 in each measure. Then an arpeggiator or a small sequence from an analog synth. I think it is more of a sequence, because an arpeggiator would probably have more notes within the octave getting played too. There is a click on the kick drum that does not sound entirely natural to me. Some of the lower bass sound is from it not being attenuated. It's like an outrun bass. I would guess it is a Moog, maybe a paraphonic one; or something like a Korg MS-20. But it could certainly be a Roland, or many other possibles. It probably took me longer to type this than it took them to make that synth part. The audio quality doesn't help with it.
