It's got the 1176, the LA2A, the API 2500 comp, API channel strip, Pultec, Dim D, Hitsville EQ, Roland space echo, A few reverbs, A couple of tapes, and a few other bits and pieces. That's pretty damn good value tbh. I don't own any UAD stuff and this is the most i've ever been tempted to make a purchase.
If i had the spare funds i would do it in a heartbeat

Got LA-2A Tube Compressor, Pure Plate Reverb and the Teletronix LA-2A Leveler collection free with my Volt 2 interface.

 

this is just the "classic" la-2a. its good, but not as far as good as the 3 emulations in the collection. had all 4 of them back in the days with my uad dsp card. there's a huge difference in terms of quality of the classic one and the collection.

still, nice to have for free and it comes with an machine license. no hardware ilok or cloud necessary as with the other uad native plugs!

I'm considering this bundle. Is the Teletronix LA-2A Leveler Collection & Pultec Passive EQ Collection any more authentic than what's already available elsewhere? I never mess with UAD. So I have no idea.

Also, do they have offline auth? Or is that UA Connect thing absolutely necessary?

Edit: I found the answer. Need an iLok USB to pull this off. Hmmm Doesn't seem worth it.

I'm considering the 200 dollar mix bundle.... but a lot of what I have is already replicated on nebula. I'm not sure given the nebula upgraded skins and the sound if it's worth getting the same ones again. I've always heard UAD is the best but yeah... any opinions I'm all ears. I have a badass computer now so cpu usage not an issue

 

The LA-2A is worth the money alone already. Waves and NI LA-2A can't compete at all.
Pultec is great. Never compared it to the noise ash though as i got the NA after i sold my uad system. curious to try the channel strip as well

 

It seems UAD is turning into WAVES with their "MEGA ULTRA FLASH SALES", only here the discounted price is three times higher

I'll wait for Black Friday

 

The Hitsville Reverb is the only one from this bundle that is on my wishlist.

Online. As far as I have heard, you can delete it after installation and the plugins are authorized with ilok.
But don't take my word for it. I have never tried it myself.

 

I can see it coming. With my luck, I buy the license today and a few weeks later the Mega Bundle is conjured up by some well known witches.
It was the same with the PA Bundle.

 

I have a strong suspicion you are correct. Not much else really explains the pricing on this bundle, other than them having a fire sale before they have to report horrible Quarterly sales figures, or something bad like that. Or better, depending on your perspective.
