This free RAM cleaner uses native Windows features to clear memory areas.
Very configurable and thorough in RAM cleaning.
Portable (Single .exe file). Works also in command-line mode.
Also has a compact GUI mode.
Microsoft.NET 4 framework version for Windows retro compatibility.

I don't see Easy Context Menu here...

Here are some pics of how it can be set up.
Those items with brackets at the end saying [port] & [pf] are just my reminders for portable or installed items.

    ECU 01.jpg ECU 02.jpg
Most of my portable programs are FREE, via Liberkey or Portable Apps... a few are not and are from 'brother' site.
I use both Portable Apps & Liberkey, but do not open their host programs, but just link directly to the executables they provide.
Yes this means some may write some things in registry or in system folders, but that's fine...
I use this way just so I can easily have all those programs set up on a new system quickly.
I DO run them occasionally just to update the programs within or find anything new, but that's all.

My main portables folder is actually named "Port" on a different drive, and contains the Liberkey folder, Portable Apps folder, and my own collected "Port Progs" folder, along with a folder of shortcuts that all point to "C:\Port\..."
I made all the shortcuts point to "C:\Port\...", so that by just symlinking that main "Port" folder to the root of C drive, I instantly have all at my disposal, without having to actually run Liberkey or Portable Apps. It adds no weight to the OS folder, but makes it a standard setup that can be used quickly, with a personal menu.

Copy some text from a dialog box - you can point your mouse over the text, click on the mouse shortcut (Shift + Middle click by default), and get a selectable view of the text.

But it starts automatically with Windows.
Easy to delete the entry in the registry, but in my opinion, a derp.

Sexe/sexe64 is a program that allows you to run ordinary programs as services on Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista/8/10/11.
You can use instsrv.exe and srvany.exe from the Windows NT/2000 resource kit to do the same thing, but sexe/sexe64 makes it much easier to run your program as a service.

    Supported OS
    Windows NT 4.0/2000/XP/Vista/7/8/10/11 32bit
    Windows Vista/7/8/10/11 64bit(x64)

pardon, if these have been mentioned, I read through the topic and didn't see them listed, but you never know...

a great file manager is "Servant Salamander" its free and is available as 32bit or 64 bit
it has a "hot path" function which allows you to create up to 10 frequently used directory/folders
to switch to with a single button. Useful for things like Root (c:\) Windows, etc.

    https://www.altap.cz/salamander/features/servant-salamander/

one handy function is F2, rename - this works great when filenames are downloaded with illegal charactes
frequently window, substitutes ???? for japanese or russian characters, making it difficult to work with these files
f2 will let you rename them to legal o/s filenames so windows won't ge

A great (IMO) search program is Agent Ransack, I've used it for 20 years or so. Has many great features, including the ability to save and print your results, (recommend printing to .pdf) - it has simple or expert mode. you can limit search criteria by date range, or by file type
or by file contents, using a text string.

One very handy feature I have used a lot is search *.* using today's date, this will show all files that have been added or changed on
your computer today. great for a before and after snapshot when installing software. Also handy when things go haywire suddenly and you
suspect nefarious activity on your computer, I used to use it to hunt down virus files on my pc, back when i used dodgy sites.

    its free for personal use,

    https://www.mythicsoft.com/agentransack/download/

to me, much better than the Windows Search function, which for me was always an exercise in frustration....

Another fine addition (pardon the pun) to windows is, Moffsoft Freecalc.
a calculator that lets you cut and paste the results into email, notepad, etc.

    http://www.moffsoft.com/freecalc.htm

there is a version 2 available. I haven't used it, no idea about the differences.
the other great thing about this calculator is the size, its easily readable
