A specific software, does it exist:
to determine, make visible, and at last edit the text, image, tags, etc in audio files?
PS. hint: hex editor(s)?

 

Is there an area where mp3tag, dBpoweramp, AIMP or foobar2000 would not cover your needs? For generic extraction of files inside other files, there's QuickBMS, which covers a very wide range of file types.

1. I didn't understand the features of that program cuz I'm not a programmer, I only see the feature
used in/for games developer (I'm not the one)
2. I tried to get their forum via different browsers, but got this:
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access this resource.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error

 

I guess you need Mp3Tag.
It covers tags, text, comments, can add custom metadata fields, picture covers (but it doesn't edit them, you need any kind of image editor).

 

I need editor for WAV. I found Wondershare UniConverter could help (maybe),
but the description there is as turbid, as QuickBMS. But I sent them request for more detailed description

 

I used Abander Tag Control once but that app didn't survive.
MP3Tag is a nice alternative that is regularly updated.

Permissions are not related to editing meta-data you can always run the programs as their own user and give them special permissions over special extensions they can modify. Safer than just a blanket admin level blank check.
