hi, seems my rtx3060 cannot clone the desktop to a 4k tv and a full hd monitor, max resolution is 2x 1080p.
before i buy a 4k monitor could anyone let me know whether the rtx3060 /no TI can deliver 2x 4k with a cloned, duplicated desktop.

When you duplicate a screen, the resolution stays the same of course.
But yes, the RTX 3060 also supports two 4K screens.

I had no problems doing the same with a 1080ti unless it was a super heavy game, you'll be fine with a 3060

 

Make sure the cable you are using for the TV monitor is a proper one. Also, the TV's HDMI connector must support 4K. I have one of the first 4K TV sets from years ago, and it has trouble with external 4K signal.

 

It doesn't affect performance in the first place. It does however raise the power consumption by a few Watts.

Got three 3060 and they all provide 4 x 4k to me.
You can not upscale or downscale cloned Device. A Clone is a Clone ;)
So you need to have same resolution on both devices. And yes good quality cable is also needed.
Some Inputs are 4k but limited to 30 hz. Look for description of different input.
