    Hey
    I'm looking for a sample\plugin for kontakt that simulates the shadows guitar.
    Thanks

    Any vst that faithfully models a clean Fender Strat with the pickup switch in the bridge position. RealStrat, Ample Guitar AGSC, Shreddage Stratus and Antonov ST come to mind. Apply spring reverb and EQ favoring the higher bands.

    I don't think it will be easy, many guitar playing Shadows fans have been chasing that sound for decades. I would start by finding out how to get close to the sound with real gear then look for VSTs that simulate the same equipment. But without the articulation and touch of real playing I don't think you'll get close with any Kontakt instrument. Hank Marvin has a special sound and feel.

    Not a Kontakt bank but I have found the Ample Sound plugins are about the most realistic guitar emulations. I think you'll get pretty close to the sound you're after with one of the clean electric plugins.

    (On further inspection the SC is the Strat version
    )

    Use a VSTi Guitar like AmpleSound or RealGuitar RealStrat (With Pitch Bends at the right places) and it's all about the Fx's you use Tap Delays which I think could be 1/8 Dot or 1/16Dot. Probably best to look at some Delay settings on Youtube but this is what you should be aiming for. AmpleSound have Delays also built in but might be best with another Delay and aim for something like this
