Did I ever try to delete that bloat crap to save space on my computer? Yes, and it breaks the plugins. This is legit problematic, why would they chose aesthetic over convenience?

 

I bought a lot of stuff from different companies. Even more than I need. So I have all I need. But often I prefer cracked versions, they help me avoid "hard" copy protection (iLok, Steinberg etc.). It makes me tranquil. I like to feel independent from dongles, servers etc. So mostly I use cracked versions of plugins that I own if their protection and authorisation are intrusive (require Internet connection).

I may install a cracked plugin I don't own because of curiosity. But now I know that finding something really useful and cool is hard. There is a lot of mediocre stuff or good stuff which indeed isn't better than what I own. Or even isn't better than free alternatives (TDR, for example, their free plugins are absolutely excellent). So why bother?

 

You are all lying. I feel a loss if the plugin I purchased is cracked. So if there are cracks, I won't buy it. If there are no cracks, I will buy it. That's it

 

...simply because I hate demo modes when trying a new plugin / software. I don't want to have any restrictions (neither forcing me in what time frame I demo it nor not being able to have all options available while demoing.) That's it. And no worries - when I'm fully convinced of a plugin / software, I'll buy it.

I can understand it but how about doing it the other way around? Try the cracked version and if you like it, buy it. Works great for a lot of people.

I buy almost every plugin that is available. It's ridiculous.

 

It also works great for those who detest having all kinds of shitty dongles sticking out of their machines... Dongles that require internet connections to work making everything even more fucked because of increased resource overhead and reduced security and PITA's for the end user.

As far as the lying part goes - all those on here who are shifting into pious/sanctimonious mode about the fact they never use anything cracked, considering the very underlying theme of the entire site/forum itself, it actually has merit.

I use cracked plugins because I hate dongles, short trials, and basically R2R uses less resources.

Absolutely. You can easily purchase iLoked stuff and use the freed versions.

But ...all lying... is a) generalized and b) a pure assumption.
