Same....xfinity too. But not as fast. $50 bucks a month, so lower tier.

 

That was my point. Being appreciative of how good many things are for us these days is a way to be more happy and whinge less.

 

Well, I'm now in the process of getting upgraded to full-fibre FTTP after seeing some of the speeds posted on here!

WERE YOU living in an european country, in the 90's ?
HAVE you accessed the internet, via a 33, 56k or isdn 64/128k modem, from an european country, in the 90s ?

If the answers are NO, then, what do you know about it, apart 'i knew a friend who knew a friend who said...' ?

I actually did. both 33Kbps and 56Kbps back when AOL was still cool.

In FR/DE/BE as a much younger man that spent much too long on the internet far away from home writing loved one, looking for porn and most probably spent to way too many nights chatting with dudes pretending to be chicks in chat rooms without even knowing it.

I've paid phone bills on both sides of the Atlantic and I still know someone isn't the same as my sister has a friend that knows someone... whatever helps you sleep at night though. I know, I know the whole cosmos is a just a giant piss take just piss you off, like when it rained too much and a bunch of people died but it was all meant to cover up the fact that you favorite football team's game. got canceled on a day you were off. yukayukayuka.

 

BT at almost 80 quid UK a month for BT broadband. I've now had to ask them to change my package as I've realised I am being taken for a ride with these speeds and price which I've been paying for a long time and the speeds others are getting for far less money is unbelievable. I am still in shock.

That's outrageous, can't wait for a 10Gb/s line. Do I need it now? No. Do I want it? Yes, of course. The problem is install time and storage space at over 1Gb/s speeds
