Did you notice the public beta for Ubuntu Linux? This could be very interesting indeed.

    6.5... lol ?

This is one of the most important update ever, they could've called it version 7 and I'd understand. They opened up to the film and tv industry, that's huge.

There is no proper way to scrub so film and tv is not there yet.

Glad I have been prepping for a move to linux from Windows. Hopefully this sparks other devs to get to it already.

    Ardour
    Audacity
    Bitwig Studio
    LMMS
    MixBus
    Radium

The DAWProject cross-DAW project sharing feature is a game changer.

Currently only S1 and Bitwig support it, but it certainly seems very capable. After all these years it looks like we'll have a real way to share projects between DAWs.

Just like with ARA, Presonus has proven to be ahead of the game once more.

hmm , literally nothing im interested in yet. still on 5.5.2, i guess maybe 7.0 will finally have something that i actually would "need" or have any benefit of to produce and release my music for me to pay up and update. otherwise im very pleased with my old version.

lol who would have thought i would be saying this sort of things. some years ago i died if i didn't have the latest point update

Yeah, it's great news really, especially considering they are making hardware too, so if they make full blown support for Linux driver wise, that would be more than awesome and open big doors for Linux pro audio

I'm definitely going to give Studio One a whirl again, already have my eye on Quantum and R65, would really like to hear Sceptre's somewhere too.

Just went to their site, didn't even know they have Eris Pro coaxial speakers, this reminds me a lot to my Fluids, well done Presonus, I'm interested for sure.

Unfortunately in real world use OMF just never worked right... I gave up on it after a frustrating year of use. Hopefully this actually delivers what it promises, only time will tell if it does.

Though I've only just started to fully migrate over to Studio One from using Cubase and Ableton previously, this feels like a huge step forward for PreSonus, despite mostly being updates that won't necessarily affect my workflow too much. From a customer investing in it for the future, it's definitely a positive thing to see such big and ambitious steps from PreSonus.

Can someone upload the Dolby Atmos Demo Project zip for Studio One 6.5? For some reason, it's not shown in my account, only the "standart" Demo Project. And I can not download it via DAW, no Internet Connection.
