    not official opening theme but rather closing theme. I remember I really liked this song (The Rains of Castemere) on GoT especially around the The Red Wedding episode. It sent the whole social media world into depression during its release. So impactful. Great show, shittiest ending ever.



    another one is from a fantasy kdrama I enjoyed, Alchemy of Souls. The shimmering reverb on vocal during 1st chorus is still my reference for doing that FX on the mix when I feel like it.

    I'm gonna second The Walking Dead. The way the theme connects to the subject matter is absolute perfection.

    As this thread already shows there's many great tv themes, but Jan Hammer's Crockett's Theme for Miami Vice really is unbeatable. The Stranger Things theme is a sure second. It's like a perfect 1-minute summary of a whole decade.
