As the title says, just wondering as I don’t think I’ve ever seen one?!

 

RePro-1?

 

Pro-1 synth is a copy of the Sequential Pro-One which is emulated by U-He's Repro 1.
Here's a comparison of the latter two:

 

The U-he Repro-1 is one of my fave VSTis!

 

I've got that one from Herr Urs. It comes bundled with Repro-5 which may seem at first glance to just be just the polyphonic version but is a different beast besides their shared oscillator heritage. From the godlike, satin voiced Dan Worrell, here is the rundown of these two great vsti.

 

You're in this forum and presumably using the sister site for 11years,you're obviously into software/production and you're saying you've never heard of repro-1? I saw this thread in the recent section of the sister site and it made me raise an eyebrow?

 

I forgot about u-He RePro-1! Mainly because I always just think of the Prophet 5 RePro5 variant!

Are there any others?

 

Why other??Repro is the best for Pro 1 .... there's another from Creamware but needs Hardware to work

There's even some really good presets on the sister site for repro-1, if that's more your thing than doing sound design (or you like a bit of both, like me).

 

I used to think of it as a variant too but repro-1 is definitely the more revered and beloved synth.
