This piece has a special significance. Started out as an experiment - trying to mix two contrasting motifs together, and ended up as a dedication to someone anonymous.

Not sure how to classify it - has electronic, orchestral, choral tones. Mournful, yet optimistic.

    Hope you enjoy it!

    brenda!!!! i love you brenda!!!!!!

Im on bad laptop speakers, so take this for what it's worth. and it's not my typical genre, so take it for even less!

Sounds like you were going for a nice long ambient intro, but as I am on bad speakers I got bored so i skipped ahead to the action. The mix itself sounded like it needed mastering, maybe? The drums and the lead synth stuck out so much, but again, prob my bad speakers. Overall I enjoyed it in general. Didn't sound like a finished, pro-level "mastered" song yet though. And I wish I could tell you exactly what I mean but I am no where near qualified...i can just tell you it doesn't sound glued and mixed/mastered all the way yet.

Hi @drumstuff - mixing and mastering remain an ongoing education. Have to say, I didn't test this on small speakers, but it sounds decent on studio speakers and headphones - at least I think so. Possibly more to do with mixing than mastering, and ensuring enough centre sound.

Pleased you enjoyed it overall! Thanks for listening and taking the time to comment. Much appreciated!

Hi, I really love it, where did you get that choir part? Is it a library?

I am very new so giving an opinion as what a general listener would think

The Intro to verse transition is slightly jumpy in my opinion. As the track progressed it picks up the momentum. With the introduction of choir it's almost a pro, finishing of nicely with the outro.

As far as mixing and Mastering goes I am yet to qualify for any comments.

Keep it up Sir, Happy Music making
