Canadian Disco legend, Denis Lepage has passed away unexpectedly. After been admitted last week with terminal generalized cancer, he was pronounced dead today, Tuesday August 22, 2023. He died at 8h30, TrendFM reported in a recent publication. His death is a huge loss to the Canadian Disco Community.

The Lime co-founder is being honored by the Legends of Vinyl Music Hall of Fame organization. Denis Lepage A.k.a. Denis LePage Blush Magnum No Bless. Thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this time.

Who was Denis Lepage?
Denis Lepage was an undeniable figurehead of the Canadian disco scene in the early 1980s. In the group known as LIME, which was formed with Denyse, his wife at the time, they were responsible for igniting the dance floors with singles such as “Your Love” and “Babe We’re Gonna Love Tonite.” Denis was also responsible for writing, arranging, and mixing a huge number of club songs during this time period.

Denis LePage is originally from Montréal in the province of Quebec in Canada. Married Denyse Lepage, with whom he went on to establish the groundbreaking electro-disco duet Lime, who enjoyed popularity in clubs in the early 1980s. In later years, Denis LePage revealed that he was a transgender person and performed as the stage name Nini No Bless.
