    HI all

Does someone maybe know how to edit in batch serum presets?
i like to change the category without going thru preset 1 bij 1 in serum and save them 1 by 1.
There must be somewhere some software to read out meta info of serum presets and change by large numbers this meta info.. like we do with MP3 files.
    thanks for the feedback.

I am not aware of anything. But you can feel free to write Steve a detailed mail requesting that feature.

I think (on Win) the database is in the C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Roaming\Xfer\ location
It is the Serumpresetdb.dat file. I just tried to open it (with DB Browser for SQLite)

Run the DB Browser, go to the folder, (type *.* + Enter in the File name field) and you should be able to see/open it.
Select Browse Data and from the Table dropdown select Serum Preset Table.

Try to edit and save that. But make a backup first

    What is "preset 1 bij 1" ?
    Never mind .. i just realized it's a typo "1 by 1".

LOL I thought it was a preset bank.

I tried to find it few years ago and couldn't find it then I decided to sort everything in this format (pictures below), on the filename instead. It's been quite helpful especially now I have 70k presets and have around 40k unsorted, I sort add new to the collection every 2 or 3 days at the end of the day if I got energy left but it's been working pretty well when I use serum, it's easier and more organized. All those labels/dev have a certain character to their patch and I always know where to look if I needed something. Scan needed 1 hour everytime I added new preset bank tho. Will torrent all this shit up for archiving when I finally manage to get the other 40k+ presets sorted and named nicely. Probably in a year lol. It's around 150GB now in total.

There's an "Others" folder, is all the hiphop/trap stuff released daily on sister's site. I dont really fancy them but keep it because my ultimate goal of torrenting them up to the russian tracker one day.
