Get Video playback to work in Ableton with VidPlayMTC on Windows?

    I am wondering if this could be a solution to get scoring to work on Live 11 on windows and not being stuck with a decade old codecs - Ableton.

    I am not quite sure how i can get this to work with Live 11 and VidPlayMTC?
    So any input would be really helpful.
    I want to run this on one computer - does MIDI over Ethernet or a virtual MIDI Cable App still work?
    If yes which virtual MIDI Cable App could work on windows?

    I haven't used Windows much recently, but rtpMIDI used to be great reliable way to get networked MIDI functionality in Windows
