Here is the history of Behringer. This company culture is really sketchy:

    I am a Behringer/MusicTribe user and have a love/hate relationship with them.
Love that they bring back old stuff and come up with new stuff I couldn't get or afford otherwise.
    Love their low prices.
Hate their 10 year wait times on some synths and that they make promises they don't keep.
Don't like some of their business practices.
But since I have no morals or ethics, I'll take what I can get and run like hell!

Good that you are honest with us. Behringer doesn't have morals either but they trying hide it.

I can't think of a single successful gear company that does have these mythical subjective morals/ethics. Some are just better at PR than others. At the end of the day none of this gear is possible without lots of materials from Asia and Africa, as is the case for most electronics (and beyond) these days. It's an amoral business in general. If we actually cared we would live by example and build what we can with our hands using materials we source ourselves "ethically". People are trying to hold Behrimger to the flame because they said some things while they record themselves doing it on an iPhone (or comparable).

People are so fake, or perhaps oblivious to their own hypocrisy.

I am not talking about this in the context of lack of morals. They lying, removing every comment which showing them in negative light from facebook and other socials even if is true and constructive like they breaking right to free speech.
They suing people like Dave Smith. They ruining people. And other things.
Bad treating workers in China etc. is just a small incridient in the whole shitty soup.

People will buy the product as long as there's demand for it. Welcome to post-capitalist hell.

I do buy and use some behringer products and I am satisfied with their quality and sound, the only main issue I have with behringer is their lack of driver support for their older audio interfaces and they just link you to ASIO4All, instead of just keeping the original drivers always available online.

I will say this. I dont give a flying fuck about internet pointless drama when it comes to a company that releases great products for reasonable prices and listens to their customers!

This whole satanic long going campaign against behringer has its roots in their competition simply hating the guts of this "newcomer" making waves for their hardware oligopoly setup.

All this gossip is clear as a day just more of the same bullshit the competition has tried for years now, hating Behringer and using their pets to create drama, they cant do anything else.

These corporations have their fingers up the ass of EVERY so called "music magazine" their "journalists" and bloggers not only by sending them gear but ads and special treatment if they "behave".

They started trying to bully behringer for being poor manufacturers, then that didn't work no more, then for copying, that didn't have much effect. Soon well be hearing them accusing Behringer of being "antisemitic" or being paid by Russia!

Hear me now and believe me later.

I guess if you set up and control a website or a forum, it is well within your rights to decide which comments you want to show and which comments you don't want to show. There is no right to free speech on a private forum. It is a complete misconception of the constitution for people to believe these things. The internet is not a public space, so don't expect the things you read online to be true.

Isn't it funny nobody cared much about Behringer until Uli started dropping Synths like Putin drops bombs.

My response to Hipster snobs angry that the "peasants" can buy affordable hardware most of them based on vintage gear which goes for pissing taking prices on Reverb:

Almost. By the late 90's they already had a " bad reputation" for reverse engineering products and changing them just enough so they could get away with it, and manufacturing them cheaply and poorly when compared to the originals. There were people who reported components being found with Mackie part # and serial #s which had not been removed from the parts. I don't care and would buy other devices from them, but i wouldn't expect them to last 5+ years either. They haven't changed their model all that much, so i am not surprised when you say that the perception persists.

Behringer is evil. People should give away their Behringer Synths. I will take them off your hands free of charge and ethically dispose of them.

Hi, you said people had enough? As a person (aka part of the people) I can guarantee you I'm alright. You guys take care of the drama and I take care of buying gear that I can afford.

The title of your thread is "Behringer Screwed Up Too Hard This Time" like they committed some egregious crime or something and most of the arguments I see against Behringer come from a moral/ethical point of view where the person believes they're somehow above it. That's where I'm coming from. You know, the loud cogs in the machine that believe themselves to outside of it. Those types.

Out of curiosity, what people are "they" trying to ruin, and what workers are "they" treating bad in China? That facility, or City, looks really nice. I haven't heard anything about these claims.

There always was and always will be "big drama" around Behringer. People hated them in the past for cloning the beloved Mackie 8 bus console and releasing the Behringer MX8000 which was nearly an exact copy of the 8bus from Mackie. The international media was upset. Behringer got sued but sold the console anyway. Fast forward to today, people hate Behringer for cloning old synthesizers and selling them cheap. Youtubers are upset, making "big drama" because big drama gets views and views get money. They do everything but to tell you the truth!
Never had problems with Behringer products (old or new). I am tired of all those youtube storytellers. If you think that Behringer products are worth it -> buy them. Otherwise leave them alone and buy stuff from other companys. One learns by experience not by influence!
