    I always thought Robbie to be a fantastic artist, walking his own path and doing what he needed to do to see, hear and feel, eyes wide open as not to miss what gifts his journey bestowed upon him.

    The last album of his that I immersed myself in was a bunch of years ago, "Contact From the Underworld of Redboy", and of course his work with The Band was some of the finest of that era, or maybe of all time. RIP.

    Robbie Robertson's soundtrack work for Martin Scorsese films is nothing short of incredible, whether he composed the music or just curated it.
    Shutter Island soundtrack was worth buying on 2 CD set.
    As a Canadian, this is a painful loss...
