Hello, I'm trying to find similar sounds to this one but I don't know how to search a name for it or even find the same. It's like a hatch or door? It's from Tomb Raider 1 so it's from a sound effects library prior 1996 but I'm a bit lost of finding something similar or the same. I tried searching on the Sound Ideas 6000 but could not find it there.

    Sound

    Thanks!

You can just layer two "found sounds" and filter/edit/process/reverb them to taste. You could even record your own doors, hatches, boxes, lockers, etc.

Instead of spending hours finding something that someone made you can develop your ear and techniques to create your own sounds. It's helluva lot more fun and rewarding. And the skill you learn will stretch beyond "just creating sounds". You will also get better at mixing, mastering, understanding how sounds affect/impact/move us, how we percieve sounds and environments, how sounds change over distance, etc.

Sounds like a fast double wood-block with reverb and some pink noise with volume curves for the "woosh".
