    AFAIR they used to allow to register without such a link at the beginning of a month unless they changed it.

    There are already threads about audionews here.

    They ask money for torrents you can get on rutracker for free.

    More than that, they use fishy ratio restrictions (to push you to pay) and they NEVER admitted it.
    Even getting a brand new torrent, to upload more, doesn't work.
    It is like that for years.

    So at the end, like a lot of ppl, i left AN.
    And pay for All Debrid / Real Debrid to download from ANYWHERE else.
    Combined with rutracker, i just gave my final middle finger to AN some years ago.

    Now, they even include a "Buy me a coffee" donation without any return ... what a joke.

    This is what you get when you search "ratio" on AN forum :
    Seedbox Ratio not updating
    Ban after registration
    Uploads stop counting towards ratio after a while even though seeding
    Low ratio screw up
    ratio not updating
    Upload/ratio not being updated on website
    I have donated but still have "Your account is limited. You cannot download new torrents. You can only seed or donate to increase your ratio quickly."
    ...

    AN is a scam, using FREE releases to make money.
    There is no massive bandwidth to pay, because they use torrent (they use YOUR bandwidth).
    So the money goes directly in their pockets.

    Stay away from them.
    I only use them as database to see the releases dates and such.

    I will NEVER download anything from them again.
    Because i can do it from elsewhere.
    I will not give MY paid bandwidth to them for free.

    May be it worked for you ... but i seen more ppl obliged to pay and not getting their uploads reported to AN server.
    As i said earlier, just search their forum.

    And YES i know how torrent work ... i use them since day one.
    Private and public.

    I can only speak for myself and I never saw any of these problems. I just used it carefully in the beginning until the ratio got bigger.
