I installed the desired plugin , I execute the command to patch the plugin but when I open it in my daw it remains in demo mode . Anyone figured it out ?

 

it could be that you have to install xcode command line tools for the patch to work. open terminal and copy the following command:
xcode-select --install
after that's finished try the patch again

 

another user's comments re cubase:

* Checked Cubase 12. "Open using Rosetta" was off.
* Turned on "Open using Rosetta". Plugins still broken.
* Turned off "Open using Rosetta". Plugins suddenly work.


What Daw are you trying to use this in? I don't think this would fix anything that was caused by missing xcode install. that would probably have already come up as an issue even just trying to codesign stuff.

 

I turned off Open using rosetta

1. Open Terminal
2. Type "sudo chmod -R 777<space>"
3. Drag the .command on the terminal and press enter.
4. Double click on the .command to run.

the way we codesign is done manually and without xcode if i'm not mistaken (i dont have xcode on this system and can still codesign vst's when needed). i found these directions on rutracker in the arturia torrent post. also there are loads of people that cant get the patch to work on the M1 installation from arturia.

 

have you tried installing xcode before running the patch?

 

Yeah I used xcode-select --install and the installation was complete

when scanning for new plugins to you have the option to combine vst and vst3 plugins turned off? and what also might help is not dragging them from the new folder in the plugin tree, it can give some weird bugs sometimes.

ok, i'm downloading pigments and ARTURIA-SYNTHS_PATCHER_2_01[XDIE] to see if i get the same problem or not.

 

then it could be that the installers did install the intel vers as well. since FL studio uses rosetta it could be it opens the vsts with rosetta as well. and from what i understood is that the patch doesnt work for the intel part.

Why would it do this when the title of the release is Silicon Only? I thought the entire thing was a little weird, but since I am not on Silicon I did not pay it much attention. This is one of the only releases I have noticed not U2B for both architectures or Intel Only. Do me a favor and let me know what you figure out?

My fix would look like:

Step 1: Uninstall FL.

i think it means that only the M1 part was cracked, since most software on mac are universal builds. anyways he used the patch from XDIE and now it works.

 

From past processor switches, we can guess at the timing. where everything new will be Silicon Only. 5 years from the last date of either Build of Intel systems, or some short grace period of like 6 months or so. (or when new machine sales slump again.lol). Maybe they even hold back rolling out Logic 11, or whatever they call it; as no-Intel.

 

probably something like that yeah, but chances are that plenty of 3rd party devs will keep on supporting intel in their apps for several years after that. the last intel supported OS will still be used for several years probably.

 

Hey statik, I'm having the same problem with this release. After applying the patch, it still says that the plugins are in demo mode. I'm using an Intel Mac with Ableton Live. I've also installed Xcode with no joy. Any advice on how to fix this would be great. Thanks
