Do more people like trap than they lot on? I haven't watched bbc in years but I'm shocked at the choice of sounds. I can't imagine an exec in his 50s okaying the music.

 

I seem to remember a programme on BBC2 in 1983 featuring interviews with Grandmaster Flash, Cool Herc, Africca Bambaata etc about the origins of Rap and Hip Hop and that was just as it was gaining traction here in the UK.
Just because the Beeb isn't generally known for being in tune with what's going on in the real world, don't assume that everybody there is against it.
