I do not disagree that the rotting process spreads germs in the meat. But treat the meat properly after slaughter and there will be no germ growth. No germ growth = no toxins.
Many plants, in fact most of them, contain toxins. Those that are formed as a defense, those that result from the rotting process and those that are absorbed through the soil water. Some toxins can be broken down or washed out via further processing and others cannot. It is not uncommon for heavy metals to be present. Nothing is perfect. Deal with it.

Wise words. There 'seems' to be a dependence. Reality: No one is dependent on it. At least not if you don't depend on gifts and aid deliveries.

Generalization means drawing conclusions from one part to the whole.

I have not named an exception, but pointed out that there is no rule. Humans are neither herbivores nor carnivores. Humans are omnivores and what they eat and in what proportion depends on food availability, culture and technical achievements.

Mostly I eat meat and less grain, I make my own keto cheesecake from time to time and some candy's not very often, I go to the gym 4 times a week, I started in December 2022 and I lost 4 kg, not muscles just unwanted fat, of course, I had my food cravings which they last one maybe two days but I didn't give up, I feel good now and have an appreciation for my self, focusing on my projects when I sit down to make music good ideas and happy mistakes! I wish everyone to join this style of life (meaning) what makes you feel good eating healthy !!!

Like when I wrote about toxins in meat and you responded: "The same is true for plant fiber or raw plant foods or foods in general."

And in very next sentence accused me of using generalisations. You did it, what, three times already.

I'm not into arguing for the sake of arguing so I suggest we leave it at that.

    Yes, because everything edible rots.
Comes in handy, because I actually did not want to debate.

You mean like that honey that they found in an Egyptian tomb and was still edible and allegedly delicious too?

    Or dried beans?

    Or white rice?

    Salt?

    Sugar?

This looks a lot like a generalisation to me, but a truly ignorant one. Especially when coming from someone who appealed to authority claiming possession of a professional qualification in the field.

And you really shouldn't have, because you're lousy at it. You immediately resort to a range of logical fallacies, which in a debate among adults equals admitting defeat, and just keep on doing it until you end up spewing rubbish.

Look, I was thinking of unpreserved animal and vegetable components. I told you, generalizations like to bite you in the ass. I'm not immune either. Obviously.

The less processing your food goes through, the healthier it is.
I'm 67 and can't cook so I find family restaurants that serve healthy food on takeout and patronize them to the point of them treating me like family and giving me free, healthy food along with what I ordered and paid for.
    Tips help:)
I avoid fast food and mall food courts.
Unless I need my bowels evacuated suddenly and violently.

I eat whatever my brain tells me to grab off the shelf when I pass it at the store.

As of late that's been mostly chickpeas, tofu, sweet potato glass noodles, cabbage, root vegetable, legumes, leafy greens and lettuces.

I eat meat, fish, avian, bovine, ovine but not everyday as I'm just not craving it and I am just not interested.

We do cook from scratch everyday, I think that's important.

I don't do diary much, not because of any ideology but because I am lactose intolerant and it's just not worth all the farting unless I crave it.

I don't avoid wheat but I don't crave it either and anecdotally not all breads seems to be equal when it comes to such things. If I am travelling in Southern Europe (Portugal, Spain, France, Italy) where they eat a lot of bread it doesn't have that sleepy effect. Maybe it's all the walking, or different strains of wheat.

I like fruits of all sorts and eat fruit daily. In the summer I have a back garden and fruit trees so I eat whatever comes out of it and give away most of that because there is just too much. Grapes, peaches, plums, strawberries, walnuts, hazelnuts, hickory nuts, raspberries, blueberries along with that ever vegetables are producing at the moment. Right now it's tomatoes, kale, summer squash and cucumbers, I took up about over a hundred or so pounds of cabbages a few weeks ago and now I am sick of it, I gave away most of it and made kimchi and sauerkraut with some of it. Though the garden is place to relax and it probably costs more to grow the stuff than buy it, it's more like a pet than a plot, it's relaxing, I don't do pesticides and it's fun to give other people something you grew.

There is nothing mystical about it, just don't over do anything and keep yourself in decent shape.

Sometimes I'll go without food for 2 days then eat an entire jar of Nutella.
Other times I fast 18 hours a day and eat a huge bowl of salad.
Yet other times it's pizza morning, noon, evening.

My initial plan was to become a famous rock star and die at 27. That didn't happen, so I don't know how to navigate life.

Probably. Dough management, especially fermentation time, will also have had an effect. However, I have no experience with bread in the US other than toast, so I can't make any comparisons. I rarely eat bread, but when I do make white flour bread, the dough doesn't get any extra sugar, and I usually give the yeast about two days to process the sugars and phytates, which means the intestines don't have to do as much work and fewer nutrients are extracted from the body.

    I went to see my Doctor today and asked him about 3 type of diet I have read about to lose weight;
-eat only brocoli and chicken (breakfast, lunch diner)
-eat only red meat (breakfast, lunch diner)
    -fast for 16, 24 or 48 hours

He looked at me and told me , who said that? with a face like a retard just mentioned anything that went through his head.

I told him about the fasting apu and a few clinician that endorsed those diets. He turned around and told me, you do whatever you want but I wouldn't let my car run out of fuel to use it on top of a hill. That's not how engine works. If you want to permanently damage your body, do just that. He told me after chucking, the only way to fix your over weight is to move and do sport. So apparently I'll just have to stop being a big pile of shit doing nothing but sitting in my studio all day. :dunno:

    I hate him now.

He took 2 big vile of blood and will receive the result tomorrow or after tomorrow.

I did this once, but it was Salmon, spinach and egg. So basically the same. I lost 10kg in 1-1.5 months (do not remember exactly). ~79 to ~69kg
I sat on my ass the whole day as I usually do. :dunno:

It is a myth that you can eat everything and only need to make sports. Like it is a myth that you only need to work out your belly to get a sixpack. :hahaha:

The only correct answer is to get a calorie deficit.
But doing sports is harder then changing your food. Sports does not only reduce calories but also micronutrients.
How do you get them back again? Yes. :invision:

So you really do not get around this food thing.

Currently doing OMAD (One Meal A Day). High protein and fat. Low in carbs.
I read books by Dr. Jason Fung and tried fasting, intermittent fasting and keto. Have never felt better (while reducing my insulin resistance as well as losing 12kg).
