I have tried about ten recent R2R downloads and the setup wizard will come up. but it will have no "next" button, so I can't proceed. I have a Lenovo laptop with Windows 11 and have tried disabling Windows security, but that makes no difference. There is obviously something in my configuration that is preventing the setup wizard from functioning, but I can't determine what that might be. Has anybody else had this issue? Any ideas? Thanks for your help.

Did you tried to create an exception for the folder you are executing the keygen?

When you say "windows security" what all does that comprise exactly? There are services associated with the GUI stuff that will still continue to run in the background. Suggest opening the service panel and physically stopping (and if you can, disable) services; firewall (may not be stoppable), software protection (if present), win defender, win update, and disconnect from internet (if you are currently connected) reboot and try again.

You might also check the eventvwr to see if there are any entries regarding security stoppage of program execution. That might tell you what is interfering with your installs, if it's actually something in the system preventing you from moving forward.

What screen resolution do u have? On my 4k screen, only halfs of the buttons show up, but the setups are still manageable.

YES! Good point! Are there any corner "handles" available to possibly stretch the box open farther perhaps? I have had that happen before myself.

This has been discussed here on AS before. I can almost guarantee you that your scaling is set to 150%, or higher perhaps, depending on your resolution. In Windows, go to Settings > Display, then scroll down to the Scaling section. Set the scaling down to 100%, then try again. I can confirm that anytime I have mine set to 150% or higher, I don't see the Next/Cancel buttons, so you kind of have to guess with your Tab key (or Shift-Tab) and press enter to actually press those buttons. They are actually there, but you can't see them.

If it was some sort of authorization ( firewall, AV ) issue, the "Next" button would still be there, greyed out and just not clickable.

Thanks everybody for your really quick replies. Yes alibobwahwah, your "guarantee" proved correct! Scaling was set to 200% (and labeled as "recommended") I took it back to 100 and the "next" button magically reappeared and the setup wizard worked - - but the text was now so small it was just about unreadable. I found that 175% was the break point. Anything greater than that and the button falls off the bottom of the wizard window. Text is still quite small, but somewhat more readable. Interesting that this is only an issue for the R2R wizards. Thanks so much for your help; these forums are really awesome!

I did some more playing around with the display settings. Using one of R2R's recent releases (Arturia V Collection 9.5.2) to test with, with my display set to 4K and 300% scaling, I can't even see the Next/Cancel buttons. Setting it back to under 150% or less, I can see them.

But, another option you can do while still leaving your resolution high such as 4K and scaling at 300% is to right-click on the setup.exe file of your R2R installer (or whatever program is giving you display problems) and click Properties. Click on the Compatibility tab, then click on the Change high DPI Settings button. You have 2 options here and these both worked for me:

Program DPI - check this box
Use the DPI that's set for my main display when (dropdown) - select "I signed in to Windows"

    or

High DPI scaling override - check this box
Scaling performed by: (dropdown) - select either System or System (Enhanced)

So, give that a shot. The downside is that you'd have to do this for every setup.exe. It only takes 5 seconds to do, so not bad. If anyone knows any other solutions, please chime in. Thanks!
