I never thought to use a granular reverb as a rhythm instrument but now I do. Thanks for the collaboration:mates:

Tried Bleass Shimmer? Responds really nicely to arpeggiated chords through a clean electric guitar.

funny you mentioned it as I just tried it out last night and liked it. After trying some different ones I think I'll be using that one and sinevibes luminance the most. I don't really use shimmer too much in general but sometimes it's just the thing.

As far as other reverbs go I am liking the new Boz Labs Recoil spring reverb so far.

I just started using KSHMR and it's great for Acoustic Piano.
Very smooth with some adjusting. Just fits for certain things.

Airwindows just released kPlateA and kPlateB as a replacement for Waves Abbey Roads Plates and the A is just colorful and beautiful (sounds like Kush Goldplate) and the B is pure Motown. I'm totally nuts with those plugins (and with the fact that they are free) and i never became so in love with plate reverbs as i felt with those ones. Just saying.

It's from Sound Toys AND it's a plate reverb. I like it already and I haven't seen what it can do yet!

both dope af. no kidding and I know my reverbs shit. Already love the NonlinearSpace from Airwindows.

I like the tight kPlate A and the B is more spacey and characterful also nice. The best part is, it is open-source licensed, if someone could just add some simple (or funny as Chris said it) Plate picture GUI to it could be really awesome.

The thread lasts almost 10 years...and becomes senseless...why?
Ok, what genre are you in?
Rock...which one: classic, hard, heavy, black, death etc?
EDM? Which one: trance, future bass, Melbourne bounce etc?
Classical? Which one: piano, string quartet, chamber ensemble, full symphony orchestra?
So, depending on your genre/style the reverbs could/would/should be different!
    That's it!

Very good also. Sounds like A with a shorter decay. Since he promised the D i'm more excited about those series of plugins than any paid stuff right now, as the boutique devs are not bringing any new stuff to the table that worth the money, for my taste ATM.

Good one. I don't like Verbity2. Verbity original is what i want for dual mono/bricasti style verb that don't eat your CPU.

I'm gonna throw Fuse Audio's VREV-305 into the mix because it's a go-to of mine for certain EPs, and it's effortlessly sexy. And, also because I'm not normally hyped on spring reverbs, but the options you have with this make it wicked versatile. The VREV-140 plate reverb gets a nod as well.
And, for everyone who mentioned Audio Damage's EOS 2—which I agree is a solid reverb—the algorithm for EOS 2 was created by Sean Costello from ValhallaDSP specifically for Audio Damage; that's why you love it.
