    I viscerally despise that tune. It is such a sickening, syrupy, treacly, sappy, plods along dirge-like tune, that I'd be heaving uncontrollably everytime I've heard it. Thankfully not heard in ages but back in it's day it was like dogshit... it was everywhere. BLECH. lol

    The Butthole Surfers have an album called "Hairway To Steven" which comes as close as it gets in my book even though it's not a song. I've never actually heard anybody do Butthole Surfer covers so you could be the first. Try out "Pepper".

    Even if he meant another one. But he could do Cocaine for the morning rush hour. Margaritaville for the after work traffic. After that, Truckin' might seem like a good idea. :no:

    I hadn't thought of Santana, it's a good song. Also, I think I have a touch in that style. There's another song that plays with a solo, I think it's one of the first ones. I think I'll play that. Thanks, dude, for the recommendations. I see that you've suggested several to me, I really appreciate you helping me think and looking for songs. I value it a lot.

    shamanmoon I'll listen to it later and I'll let you know. I've been busy lately, so I appreciate the recommendation. Thank you.

    @Lois Lane Lois, today I listened to the song quickly before going to play, and it sounds quite unusual. It would be a good song to experiment with. I'm not sure if people are familiar with it, but it's an interesting song. Thank you, Lois, for taking the time.

    @Academia , I've already scheduled it to listen to. I was busy today and didn't have time, but I didn't want to miss thanking you for the suggestions.

    @MdB If I play "Blackbird," I'll try the one you recommended. Thank you!

    Crinklebumps Well, I'll take your recommendation. I'll see if I can upload something tomorrow to give you an idea. I'll try to record it there in the subway. Today I played "Hotel California," and it had a good reception. I call it a good reception when people leave money because they don't do it out of pity. It's not like they say, "Oh, look at the poor musician, let's give him some charity." They leave money because they like what you're doing. Some leave money because they want to support artists, but the majority leave money because they genuinely enjoy it, find it good, pleasant, and attractive. That's my reference point. Today, while playing "Hotel California," some people left money. It's not the same as "Stairway to Heaven." It's like the world stops when that song plays. I'd love to film and show you the faces of the people. That song has something magical. Maybe the environment, the time when people are returning, I don't know. All I know is that when I play that song, people respond with money, hahaha. That's why I'm trying to find something that has the same impact.

    /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

    Thank you all for the new suggestions. I haven't been able to listen to these new songs you recommend. Today has been a long day, even though it's only 12:30, and I'm cooking, haha. But you've suggested beautiful songs. Whether I play them or not, I've discovered new music, very interesting music that even Spotify couldn't recommend to me. Moreover, your suggestions have made me think and broaden my perspective. I value immensely all the time you've taken to suggest songs and even provide links. I make a living out of this, and it's my source of income (playing in the subway), so I truly appreciate all these suggestions because they're helping me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, guys. I'll keep you posted on how it goes. Today I played "Hotel California," and it was a solid "6." I played the main arpeggio without singing, and in the chorus, I improvised another arpeggio based on the melody

    PD: I apologize if I sound cheesy, but what wonderful people there are here, seriously. There is no other forum (or at least, I'm not aware of one) that has been able to bring together such incredible people like all of you. You are loved and appreciated.
