Trend of transient eqs continues

The one good thing I see with this one is that they don't try to market it as a "transient" EQ, they only mention that you have the option to make the bands react only to the transient or only to the sustain. That's what's been bugging me about most of these "transient" EQs. It's not a game-changing feature in and of itself (like many have tried to tout Eventide SplitEQ as being), but definitely a nice feature to have in a digital EQ.

When Sonible released their EntropyEQ - years before SplitEQ was released - no one was going around saying it will "revolutionize the industry" and "change the game", but when Eventide did the exact same thing everyone lost their mind Yes, SplitEQ is a great plug-in and EQ, but it's not a novel concept in any way.

This might be really useful. Do they remove the filter outline or just the spectrum analyzer? If so, how do they tell you how much Q you have? Just a number?

Anyways, yeah, Spiff is still my goto. I don't know if any other transient EQ's have minimum phase mode but even if they did I don't really have any complaints with spiff. It sounds artifact free to my ears and handles transients very well, with the processor's windowing size being an insanely useful feature.
