i have installed Massive 1.5.12 on two new windows 10 machines. (it worked on an older install 1.5.11 and on my desktop without flaws).
Tried my legit massive and R2R release, same problem the GUI freezes, i cant click shit.
Only i think i can click is the NI logo which shows that Massive is Full.

the thread in the NI forum didnt help at all, because there arent any of these problem i have.

It is not really stuck on initializing, but the GUI simply totally locks.

i also tried R2R 1.5.11, same problem.


not really in the mood to write the NI support as last time their support was not really useful.
So i hope you guys have here any ideas.

No NI Access or NI bloat is installed.

Interesting if i let it run that way the process/massive freezes and crashes the VST host.
Save buttons work, but also crash the VST host.

Windows 10 Pro x64 1H21 Build 19043.928

Savihost 1.43 latest version, Reaper 4.79, Live Suite 11.2.11
same problem in the Standalone version.
It freezes GUI for both legit and R2R.

Desktop has 1.5.8 installed, which works fine. I will try to install 1.5.8 and hope this versions works. It could be that there is something wrong with 1.5.11+?

1.5.8 works fine for me.

1.5.9 also works.

Either R2R fucked up or NI did (when legit and R2R version show the same problem).

i will stay with 1.5.9 for now, as it works fine and i couldnt care less about AAX and VST3 support.

(will uninstall legit version, no really fun to have NI bloat installed, also easier with other R2R stuff.)

1.5.9 seems to work fine, R2R saves ass again.

VC++ was uptodate (2005-2017 versions), graphics stuff also uptodate on intel and AMD, which had the same problems. 1.5.9 just worked fine for me now.

 

i can try, but i had this issue on a clean system, without !!!NI Access or anything else by NI installed before!!!

1) install for example Native.Instruments.Massive.v1.5.12.Incl.Patched.and.Keygen-R2R.
(Run the setup and use R2R's keygen.)
2) When i open Massive now, i got the GUI freeze, so far i remember.
3) Remember at this point i have no NI Access installed, so Massive will look for a way to verify the license jwt files the keygen has created. This could maybe lead the GUI freeze.
(At the point i did try Native.Instruments.Kontakt.7.v7.3.0.Incl.Patched.and.Keygen-R2R, but here Kontakt stayed in demo, to my surprise Native.Instruments.FM8.v1.4.6.Incl.Patched.and.Keygen-R2R installed flawless and was in full version mode. This really made no sense for me at this time.)
4) Bunford mentioned in another thread, that i should maybe copy the provided NI Access.xml file to the right folder, which R2R did provide - i still have no NI Access installed.
5) Just to get sure i generate new license jwt files for all plugins i have installed.
6) The keygen is complaining, that the sister is dirty - i should clean all jwt files.
7) Massive, Kontakt, etc all work now.

The big solver was the NI Access.xml file, which R2R has provided. It works to this day now for me.

yeah Massive 1.5.9 works fine, looks like NI changed some things with newer versions. (newer versions had a few bugfixes which i found useful so i kept trying to get the new version to work.)
