thanks for the detailed write-up. What do you mean with "retail releases"?
Boz digital so far hasnt been ported to M1 native PT. I will check out the others though, thank you!

Retail releases are not K'd, because they 1) do not have copy protection or 2) have one that is very simple to share to the community, like for exemple all the TDR plugins. Latest releases work on m1 and has a simple licence file to copy paste.

Since you asked for K'd releases, I've omited retail releases from my post, but hinted at them ;)

 

What about FabFilter?

ProTools won't accept any plugins that has been patched. It probably checks the hash file for any changes, I'm just guessing but that would be the most logical way to do it.

 

Version Pro Tools for developer not checks any plugin, special for plugin developers.
But this is cut, shortened and does not save settings. At this stage, the plugins have not yet been signed.

 

I'm looking for plug-ins on a sister website that work on Protools and also on a MAC M1 computer. I'm looking for Waves and some cool EQ (Kirchoff or Fabbfilter). Could someone help me and tell me which one can be downloaded and will run on my system?

I could test each version but there is a problem with downloading from sites that allow you to download for free only once a day at a very slow speed and sometimes there are 8 of these packages (for example for Waves).

The Kirchhoff eq works fine on m1 Mac I’m using it myself but with in logic . There has been a lot of updates at plugin alliance lately to get plugins fully working in protools , os Ventura update . All Pa plugs are running smooth now well they do in au in logic 10.8

anyway, fuck Waves, use free Analog Obsession stuff, if you want something fancy then Overloud GEMs will work,
cool EQ is free TDR Nova and free TDR SlickEQ, also check other free TDR stuff or even GE editions of TDR

 

if you do not have any tricks or workarounds, the free hosting used by many of the sister site's releasers could be a problem for someone downloading something like 10+ gb of Waves. Downloading that kind of thing 400mb at a time with them detecting your VPN, etc would be a headache with your dl speed of 300kbs or less.

 

whitch waves are working on legit PT2023 an M1 mac ?? and from who i can learn tricks for free hosting sites ?
